Weight: 120* Icarus affects her muscularity and durability, she is around 2.5x stronger than a normal person, which hardly ever gets shown but definitely has helped

Hair: dark brown with black undertones, thick and straight, kept long and fashionably styled

Eyes: hazel blue-green, light and somewhat weak in shade, almond shaped, under expressive concerned brows

Appearance: medium fair to tan skin, leggy, quite pretty and slinky; enjoys looking like that 'girl next door', and if she had any other background she's certainly have an adorable southern twang

Icarus Processing: yes at age 3, even though both of her parents had it done, Melissa had decided it would be for the best; which certainly had a strong effect on her Vortal abilities. It did further improve her healing speed, even beyond what her mother's genes provide. Also she seems quite a bit more flexible than most people. Her body is remarkably sturdy, she has never needed to get bandaged up, any injury including quite dire looking ones (at the time) are practically healed by the time she's at the nurse... She resists all forms of disease, and parasites have never been able to latch on to her, though this does seem to have a side effect that her digestion sometimes goes wonky and she needs to remember not to eat a lot of eggs or beans...

Genetic Abilities: Very strongly empathic and with a good range to the suite of Vortal sight and telepathy (best at line of sight within 100 meters, but telepathy can reach over 2 kilometers, and her Sight is clear about auras at around 50 meters). Empathy is best with individuals, and within 20 meters, but she can adjust herself and with some preparation can detect quite a few details about mood and background with groups up to 10. She can sit down with a single person - or a pair, she is a couples councelor after all - and begin working through their issues mood by mood. Though she doesn't aggressively change someone's emotion outright unless they're quite dangerous (to themselves or others, either way) she can do so with a touch - and since she's very very durable, she can and has gone in to extremely violent situations and helped calm them to the point of stability. She could possibly have been the only person alive that might be able to calm Alma with a hug. Her father asserts that he'd prefer not to think about that, having been the focal point of her ire more than once...
Skills or Profession: With the strength of her empathy, and known needs around the EC and Black Mesa, she was given quite a few downloaded courses on psychology and psychiatry, and sociology. She also has had access to medical process and pharmacology, which she does use in regular meetings. With the presence of the Mansion's ... um, herbal farms, she has been able to pick and choose which natural remedies are best for people, and she works closely with both Tanner and Jade (or whoever is out there with strong plant-based powers at the time) in order to make sure that all those herbs and medicinals are being harvested properly. As a trauma care specialist Mae is remarkably talented, but she also does have her mother's downloads for more private and happy time play.
Personality: She's often the first truly friendly face that a refugee sees on rescuing. As such, Mae takes her duties seriously, but you'd almost never see a 'cold clinical' demeanor from her. She is always scanning for issues, and has done since she was a very small child. With the rest of her downloading and training, there's always something she knows can help someone. Mae has it in her to be quite strong willed, she's not some pushover that just does 'whatever you want' to calm a fury. But she certainly is the sort, like her mother before her, to take a few punches before putting her hand up and making someone sit down and stop it. Even if she's able to do so, she doesn't particularly show off to normies, however she has never hidden her Vortal abilities from them - some folks do not want to deal with the added weirdness of having some psychic rooting around in their minds. (Which seems silly to her, this world has dragons on it that aren't native... how much weirder can you get?!)

Events or History: though she was not delivered by her genetic mother, Mae was always loved by both her parents, though by Brell at a bit of distance, since she was not intended to show off her motherly side. Mike has hardly been the 'see the shrink' type, but he encouraged her and really did bring her up right. With the arrival of the Rookery era, as an effective adult, she has had cause to really dig in to her training, and enjoys her work.

Though she spent much of the early years of the Rookery at the dragonry itself, once North Aperture was considered 'ready' for habitation by regular folks in RY 12, she headed up there to form the basis for their psychology team. Though they do have some amount of on-site herbs and medicinals being grown, she still relies on transported goods from the Grounds, and she also kinda sort enjoys Tanner's company in those consultation visits... They had studied together, after all, in his (artificially aged) youth.

Colors: neck, belly, behind limbs, and under tail white mottled with pale blue-grey; face, neck, body, limbs, wingarms, tail royal blue mottled with dark to medium blue; dorsal armor strip and spines indigo; limb and wing armor dusty violet-blue; wingsails and fins bright blue with cyan spatter markings; horns and claws pale grey; insets highly reflective white that *change to yellow, cyan, red, and green; eyes aqua
Features: Pure Seawing
Powers: Winged Flight, Seaborn Soaring, Neelakantha does well below the waves, but she can still fly quite strongly above them. Used to the pressure and crushing depths, her wings are remarkably apt to get her high in the air quickly. She's not very agile in the air, fit more for long distance straight flights, but her underwater agility is well known. She can drag quite a bit of weight in either condition, and can carry half a dozen human-sized people without issue as long as they don't mind a bit of seasickness...
Communication, as many Seawings, she's used to communicating with Aquatic, a combination of body motion and flashing lights, but can certainly speak Draconic, Vortigese in verbal only, and has a good grasp of English and technical-type words thanks to her bond. She and Mae have a good mental rapport, probably due to Mae's empathy.
Water Adaptation, pure Seawings are easily able to breathe under water with gills on their neck, and she also has no trouble surfacing and 'clearing her lungs' with a big burst of water. She can see in near dark conditions, her own illumination patches help with that. Neela has never had trouble with either very cold or very hot water, but she does prefer not-frigid and not-boiling.
Soothing Sea Breath, a combination of sonic and magical projection, Neela can lull even huge sea life into missing her approach. She is among the few dragons who hunts Icthy the invasive monstrous creatures that now lurk nearly everywhere in waters. A school of fish, a pair of dolphins, even aggressive sharks, all of them just let her pass on by or ignore her as she hunts them. To those above the waves, this sounds quite a bit like an eerie siren-song, but thankfully doesn't affect humans or Vorts.

Other Info: To those who live in the Aperture facility, she serves as a bit of encouragement when they want to do that Big Dive into the deep lagoon. With the proper protective gear, she helps visitors to the deepest Shaft water system get around, and even gives tours.
