Edge of Shadows opened a portal and what popped out but a group of energetic, colorful and small sized whorlings! While they are clearly 'breedable as dragons' they tend to shy away from such things because they are much smaller than any of the local dragons - with few exceptions. They also seem to think they appear on those dragons 'good to eat' list, so they keep to themselves in an isolated grove on the east side of the Zekiran colony.

There is a good amount of ground cover, but also several wide clearings where they gather. All manner of plants seem to live in this grove, so they have no issue finding vegetation, and the flowers and fruits often attract small birds, insects and lizards which they also consume with vigor. A pond and stream heading down into the low lands pools here, and there are plentiful fish of different sizes (from miniscule silver-fins to massive trout).

During winter, these Weezles stand out, as they do not lose their fur color or change to white like most small animals do. They are intelligent, far smarter than any pet species and certainly bright enough to communicate to Kin or dragon kind if need be.
