Giles is a beggar, not a thief. He's a mischief maker, not a trouble maker. Sure, those are narrow definitions, but they suit this loyal, loving Weezle nicely. He would much rather be given something than take it, certainly, and he'd far rather make it challenging rather than impossible to hunt with him along.
