Age/DOB: adult, unknown birth, arrived in the mid-2010s, in the Far Galaxy's BBY21 (though ... he wouldn't know that date since it was invented post-Battle of Yavin!)(wait there was a battle at Yavin!?)

Origin World: Glee Anselm

Family: Unknown, possibly Jedi in their line in addition to him; that other Nautolan lady that's recently arrived definitely has a flair as a lifeguard, and maybe they might hook up!

Other: came to Twoarth to attend CHS and has remained at Talon for work

Height: / Build: 5'9", strongly muscled but sleek for aquatic movement, very good torso

Hair: none, Nautolan have multiple tentacular appendages on head (more than the 4 shown) which add quite a bit of sensory perception

Eyes: reddish black, larger than shown and round, with added membrane for underwater safety

Appearance: brightly cyan coloration with deep blue mottled markings on tentacles, shoulders, back, and legs; young looking, so he has no obvious scars; a charming face and welcoming smile; tends to wear 'fancy skimpy' outfits, but does have a selection of more sedate gear for more formal occasions or just, y'know. not swimming. Prefers to match his dual sided lightsaber for colorations on clothing. Webbed fingers and toes with claws. Has a strong voice, thanks to being under water breed

Genetic Abilities: Aquatic and Amphibious by nature, able to breathe both well-oxygenated water and atmospheric air. Prefers a more moist environment. Swims like a demon. Tentacles allow for pheromone and scent sensing, which mean he has an incredibly good sense of peoples emotions such as 'sweating it out' or fear.

Skills or Profession: Environmental Protection was never this charming! With degrees in Environmental Hazards and waste control, and a strong side of innate ability, Kia is the one you can count on for both organizing beach cleanup activities with your classroom, and showing up in court to make sure that industrial polluters don't get away with their messy crimes. He is able to research local law and make well-informed decisions, and can also incorporate that information into beach-combing teams to keep them interested in the 'why' of their work cleaning up the beach. Though he is not particularly 'religious' he does have a strong love of the old stories of his people, regarding the 'spirit of the Ocean' and the way worlds seem to respond to such things as pollution, war, and resource management. Currently, he's 3 years out of C4 and has used his degrees to get a 'great gig' doing things he already loves - protecting the beach, and flirting with lovely swimmers. Has continued his Jedi training with those found at Carramba, but outside of his actual school work since he was taking a break at that time from the Order. Now that he's here, he has his own way to forge in the use of the Force, and has been encouraged to learn new ways to manipulate matter and occasionally sway minds

Personality: 'charming!' for real, he's not the type to 'love em and leave em', but he does cause quite a few folks to be let down a little when they realize his work is his true love

Events or History: As above, has graduated from both CHS and C4 with honors, and before that had been a Padawan paired with a Jedi Knight, however they were lost during one of the various conflicts during the Clone Wars. At some point, possibly during a return to Glee Anselm, the ocean he emerged from after a meditation... wasn't the same one he went into. But Kia is nothing if not resourceful! He sensed both Jedi and Sith in the area, and went off to make sure of what was going on. Turned out, it was a 'how to not hurt people when you're sparring' in a local school! He was taken in by the Jedi on campus, though not particularly reinstated to a Padawan level, because they felt he had some 'mundane learning' to do. And learn he did. Now, he is a Knight - though not necessarily in the way his original Order would allow. He concentrates on making sure that the beach and sea in this odd furry-and-human world is clean and safe.

"That's definitely a bigger hatchling than we're used to seeing," one of the dragon riders native to the Talon City area said, "but ... I mean, here we are, right?" Val and her rather lage dragoness had helped get the turtle-shaped dragon to the beach, but it would then be up to Kia to make sure that he was safe and healthy from then on. "We've always got people with dragon-healing and anatomy courses to work on, so don't hesitate to come back down to Carramba."

"Don't worry, I bet we will!" Kia waved at the hippie dragonrider, and turned to face the Dragon Turtle, whose name was Zalendri, right in the eye ... standing full on his legs Kia was only barely taller than the 'hatchling'.

They busied themselves with learning speech, sensing friend from foe, managing anger issues, and finally realizing that Zalendri was perfect for the 'collecting the junk and turning it in' aspect of beach environmental safety. Just... Don't be on hand when that plastic is being melted down, it gets very hot!

Less than a year after establishing themselves as the Beach Pollution Control experts, the call went out that another dimension's Earth had a batch of dragons in need of a job. Kia left Zalendri in charge for the moment, and found another of the dragonriders who could make the trip and carry home one of these 'Berk' dragons. Kia was not prepared for the staggering differences among the dragons that soared around this location, but he knew instantly when he found the nests that he'd been informed about... They were snuggling under the sand, but he could tell they were dragons.

A creamy-tan one shook off the still-wet sand and opened her wings, showing off the beautiful speckling common to these ambush predators. And then he saw that something had caught her large yellowy-cream eye: a torn ribbon from somewhere in the town above, having drifted to the bay. She instantly got a look on that boxy face, and pushed her spined wing arms together like a comb, lifting it up and presenting it to Kia.

"Well it's not my color," he said with a smirk of the red cloth strip, "but I know what I can do with it!"

They made their way back to Twoarth, where Sandsneak learned how to keep herself just-slightly-covered enough that she didn't get too hot from the much more pervasive sunlight here. Where she was from there was hardly any blistering light like this even during summertime. Most of her day would be spent either in the shallows picking up floating trash, or nestled in the various shaded nooks and caverns near the beach.

But once the sun started going down, and most of the tourists would head home, she would weave around just under the surface of the sand, cruising like a shark. Her powerful wing arms netted a great number of lost items, but also all that discarded junk like cans and drink cups, cigarette butts, half a flip-flop. Collecting this on land helped when Zalendri would heat up and start melting it away!

Kia did take pictures of all the garbage before it was burned down, and made sure that every month there was a very large collection of those photos clearly posted on the bulletin board near the beach's entry point. "Don't add to this!" was the warning on the signage, but of course most people would ignore it. Maybe some day they'd just leave it all for a month and see how they liked it then.

Zalendri

Size/Shoulder/Length: at arrival, 6'6" at shoulder/carapace, 24' long, and will grow indefinitely until reaching 20+ feet at shoulder...
Colors: teal, body a rich green-blue with darker green-teal scales, carapace seaweed green with darker lining and grey-greey underside; aqua teal dorsal armor plates and spines on neck; aqua blue fins and webbing; horns and claws ivory; eyes ocean blue
Features: Dragon Turtle as shown
Powers: Amphibious, able to move between water and airy environments equally well
Swim, this dragon is a powerful diver and swims to match the speed of boats regardless of their size or engine capabilities...
Aquatic Adapted, DarkVision and Low Light Vision, in the depths it's almost impossible to see since there's little enough light, but he has no issue at all detecting movement, size and shape, and individual creatures once they're known to him in even the darkest or most sheltered nighttime location
Verbal Speech, speaking Aquan and Draconic tongues already, though not as easily as some who might have remained on their homeworld longer; can speak English, local Aquatic tongue, Cetacean, and a bit of Kaminoan since they are usually in the Dome nearby
Steam Breathweapon, this has a tremendous amount of viable uses, not merely for hunting or defense. While it is an incredibly hot spray of steam that can certainly fry fish in the water, it is also capable of propelling windsurfers stranded without a breeze (with a bit of spicy moments please do not look directly at the spray while he's heating the air under your sail), and also can melt a great many plastic items being dumped into the water into a large more easily contained lump!
Magic Use, while he isn't yet practiced with most spell type magic, there are numerous dragons on the Magical campus near CHS that have offered to help him learn how to create specific effects, mainly protective spells that will prevent people from being harmed, or waypoints to float in the air helping those requiring a way home in the deep morning fog

Other Info: personality is Snappish, Forceful, and Eager - everything you need to know about this massive dragon turtle is that the emphasis is on snapping turtle, though he is not necessarily mean or aggressive, he's definitely the first up and active on patrols, and will scare the living daylights out of anyone that dares dump anything in his part of the ocean
Importantly - Kia is not a bond, they are a sponsor, and will likely confer with Zalendri for further team members to be added!

Sandsneak

Name: Sandsneak
Gender: Female
Size/Shoulder/Length: medium-small (broadwinged), 6'8" s / 32' l / 35' ws
Colors: pale creamy-tan body, wingsails have dappling of beige and brown spots
Features: Sand Wraith, a Berk Tidal Fury type; four legs shorter in front but with digging claws; two large, broad wings with 5 fingers and a set of sharp spikes on entire forewing; boxy head with short conical horns and jaw spikes, neck and back has short dorsal spikes along spine to rump; tail has added winglets and and stabilizing fins; Molts before breeding; somewhat sensitive to sunlight, and prone to overheating and burning if in open sun without sandy or water cover
Semi-Aquatic, able to hold her breath for very long periods below water, and this aids as well when doing sand-combing
Ambush, her breed are ambush predators and will hide just below the surface of sand or dirt, rocky areas, or other such locales including under water, and then spring out at full speed to capture prey
Stealth, can blend in very easily with sandy or rocky locations, though she is a bit pressed to also blend with the structures or painted tourist buildings around the beaches. But any reasonably natural area you'll suddenly realize there's a dragon right there
Powers: Winged Flight, Sandsneak is quick in the air but for short, low bursts; however she is very strong in those flights, able to lift off with virtually anything still above coming with her. Her powerful wings are also able to propel her with extreme grace and speed under the waves, though they're less useful in packed or deeper sand and tend to be folded down to her sides until the 'combing' part is needed with the spikes on her arms
Draconic Speech, though she cannot speak English or other humanoid verbal languages she can learn and understand clips and words from many of them, and can easily communicate with any dragon nearby with bellowing and song-like chirps. Many humans on the beach will think 'that's a loud seagull' but it's no gull!
Sand-Breath, perhaps it's a mixture of the heat generated by a fire blast, bringing along particles and chunks of now-hard and brittle sand, she tries not to use this too often but sometimes you just have to remind people to pick up after themselves... Her breath weapon is short range and usually in a meter-wide burst, almost like hefting a large shovel-full of heated (not burning) asphalt or chunks of ground. This wobbly burst of matter will plop to the ground where she intends it to within 50 meters

Other Info: Cautious, when you're an ambush predator you have to be careful not to ambush something that is much bigger or more dangerous than yourself. While there are few such dangers on the coast of SoCal, there is always the possibility that it might be a person and thus need to be careful about it
Thoughtful, When one waits and is patient, one has time to think. In her observations she can spot people who are struggling, angry, submissive, or lonely, and sometimes chooses to nudge them a little in a kind way maybe she'll send Kia, maybe she'll just shake off the sand and sing a little song for them, it depends on what they look like they need
Investigative and Acquisitive, Sandsneak is remarkably smart and will learn and retain information such as language cues, names and faces, popular locations where those tourists will 'always' leave their junk, and can tuck away this information for later use. Yes this means when she spots the same tourists in the area she may hint that they need to be talked to in words they understand...
As above, Kia and Zalendri are her partners, not bonds, but they make a very good pickup team
