Winged Flight, though his folks are in his humble opinion a bit stunted in this department, he uses his wings like an absolute fucking pro. He might have a bit of a dad-bod but that bod works it, able to run with those insane clawed feet and keep himself at exactly 88 mph with the boosts and buffers of the wings, or sprint up a skyscraper and then dive off to soar over the city. He's kitted out with four fuckin wings, man, LET'S FUCKING GO!
Teleportation, Sonyth has given him some sweet cheat codes. Rath has donated time and smarts. So when we say that he 'spawned in', it's absolutely true. He can seemingly place himself wherever he wants, particularly good with 'on site' or 'in line of sight', but equally so entering a fray at exactly the right (wrong?) moment of its best (worst?) possible outcome. He's super proud of this feature, and can use it on Twoarth, the VR or Hypercalc Labs at CHS, in video games he's playing, across dimensions, or throughout time. He is a dangerously good teleporter.
Telepathy and Verbal Speech, he swears like Melissa on a good day, sprinkling his already colorful internet-slang with non-Earthian words or phrases, and picks up on languages quite well or at least 'enough to get the team rolling' in that combat map. He doesn't need a headset or microphone to communicate in a video game or internet-connected setting, such as a chat room or even security camera - his 'voice' carries Vortally through electrical connections, so everyone hears him. Yaaayyyy.
Electronic Sense, Command, Override, Code, Though he's not going to be coding those security systems or your bank account taxes, Jenkinth is very capable of reaching through the electronic aether and tweaking numbers enough to bend the rules. Not break them, no no no, but the difference between a loot drop of 1% and 10% hey that's just one decimal value added right? Right? Though he is quite cavalier about entering combat, he also will glance around at a room of treasure chests in a game and outright tell you not to bother opening a few - they either have garbage loot, or are a mimic. He understands probability but sometimes... ignores it in favor of a fun time. He must be either near the data being held or directly in communication with it - so he can reprogram your hand-held device a little bit if you're standing there, and sway things if he's got a game going that is connected to servers hosted even around the world. But he can't tap that server unless his avatar is in the game at that time. Also, a weird caveat... Unless you give him permission, he can't alter your info. This is a personal choice, not a hard and fast rule, but he won't cheat so much that it gets noticed in the bigger picture.
^Damage Resistance, this is something unique to him and his egg-twin, Leeroyth. While your avatar might look like it's on its last sliver of HP, his seems to always be full. And that stands both in and out of a game situation - he has absolutely no idea how to 'be hurt', his real world health is just mad good. It's clear that he does 'get' hurt, usually in those huge end-game battles and leagues, plus in PVP because he's not gonna cheat in a PVP arena, he wants to see how good you really are, you nub. But he can literally tank a tank in real life, somehow, and only come away from it with like, a small rip in his wingsail or a slightly-bent brow armor piece. Those things heal mysteriously fast, too. |

Heads Into Improbable Battles Without Even A Blink +4 At full speed, hit the ground running or jump into the sky at full bore, just do it. JUST FUCKING DO IT GO GO GO MORE DOTS MORE DOTS okay stop dots. This all usually happens in games, but at CHS there are also classes for tactics, optimism under duress, crowd control skills, and everything else that he could cause to 'go wrong' (wrong??) that students can then learn from. Whether they're learning the right thing ("RIGHT"?) is entirely up to them...

Actually Does Read The Rules +3 He just likes to bend them enough. So he'll actually read that EULA and make sense of it before even starting to weigh in about whether they're 'fair'. If some of those companies knew that he was running around in their games making sure that those 'fair' rules were being enforced correctly, they might hire him on as a security or troubleshooter. Or, might call the cops. Depending. The upshot of this is that he does know how to make sure that the kids in the classes he helps with are not hurt or are learning their own 'right way' to do a thing.
That Said, Isn't A Rules Lawyer So Much As A Rules Judge +2 He won't 'well actually' anyone, but after doing something online or in classes, he's pretty darn good at debriefs and checking up to see where the rules may have been the problem, or if it's all on you the user. A Team Player...ish +2 Can definitely be a bit abrupt with kids that outright don't listen to instruction, and does figure that if you get a team wipe and can point to a particular event or person who borked it, good. They need to fail in order to succeed later, right? This doesn't really endear him all the time, but those who do listen to instruction and learn from him how to bark commands, definitely do better in all their classes that require teamwork... |

Surprisingly Good Manual Dexterity +3 He's got hands, sure they have those wildly long pinkies but they're still fingers! He can do pretty much all normal humanoid tasks with these clawed fingers, even things that would baffle someone with long fingernails |

Class / Instructor / Role depends on the needs of that class, usually organization of enemy factions so that the students have something to fight or defend against, but also sometimes will lead the heroic side or 'the good guys', for the instructors to judge whether they were performing adequately. Also sometimes will be brought in for the Optimism Under Duress classes though he might actually begin instructing the 3/6 periods if they can't find a new instructor...
Each of these only tap him as needed, and organize their classes so that he won't be in both or multiples in the same week. Generally speaking he attends and assists with only one of these periods per week, because it's a 3 day (odd/even/friday) type thing, or specifically for testing on the weekends for Finals. Big events need more time! |
