Powers

Energy Give And Take - Blackberry is able to both siphon and redistribute highly concentrated bursts of energy into a living thing or object smaller than about 20 lbs. Generally she can transfer this power aggressively (melee range punching and jabs) or passively (distristbuting it as a potent buff to an ally's attacks or strength), but must be close range to do either. She can also separately buff the metabolic processes of an ally so that poisons wear off quickly, movement rates are increased temporarily, and general health is restored in a short period. She can revive a fallen team member from grave injuries, but it must be very recent and she must not be interrupted while doing this as it takes all her energy and concentration.

Speed Bursts - As a 'travel power', she can enhance her own speed for short periods, slightly less so than the ally buff she grants to her team mates. She's always felt that this is a bit of a weak point, because she has to scout ahead, rather than being able to keep pace with the team all the time they're buffed. This speed burst when applied to others lasts them around 3 minutes, increasing their movement rate 2x, but on herself it lasts only 90 seconds, and increases it around 1.5x which she feels 'she got cheated'...

Clusters Buff The Healer +3 She knows exactly where to put her efforts, and that is to keep the team as healthy as possible for as long as she can; thus if it feels like she's 'ignoring' you? That's because you're not in danger, and she knows danger when she sees it too
Skills

Pick The Boss Off First +3 Do this, always, because duh. When minions see their big-bad leader fall, they tend to scatter, and she can sense just exactly who is the best target for such things

Anatomy +3 Want to feel your hands go numb from a jab to your gut? How about where to put pressure on your buddy so he doesn't bleed out? She knows, she's good at describing these things as well, so others can benefit while she's off incapacitating a boss...

Fight Smarter And Harder +2 Always watch your enemy for a bit before entering combat. You never know, you might discover some other way to get around them, or spot runners, and preventing them from alerting their boss is vital particularly in close quarters

Knacks Don't Argue With The Healer +3 Really, just do not. This applies in combat, out of combat, at dinner, or on the Internet...

Pets None, but she doesn't mind escort missions, because she can speed everyone along and avoid slow enemies
Parents? No parents, only clone samples
Siblings? Technically speaking the other Protectors, but they aren't really 'relatives', she greatly looks up to her loud-mouthed mentor and Wilson equally but doesn't feel the need to emulate them, having found her own way thanks to their guidance
Notes * Healing, Martial Arts, and Danger Room practice all count toward local training and permit requirements to perform in the field; Danger Room and Martial Arts both count as Physical Education credit
Weakness Robotics and long range enemies - non-living enemies or items cannot be affected by her power over energy save for destroying small items such as luggage, crates, or computer parts. She has to leave those to others while in a team, and feels fairly useless if their enemies are made up of only clockwork-soldier types. Also she is unable to produce an effective attack at distances farther than 10 feet from herself, however she does plot routes that allow her to weave through groups to affect as many as possible on their way through a building or battlefield.

Blackberry expressed immediate interest in anatomy and practical applications of her innate navigational prowess. Rita knew just the ways to exploit those things. Though she couldn't use the teleportation that her mentor did to damage them, having the ability to spot weak points in enemies and plot to find their most vulnerable organs was pretty clearly Blackberry's forte. That, and her very good understanding of layouts, cityscapes, and escape routes would allow any team to benefit from a well-planned attack. The telepaths in the group of mentors easily saw through her eyes: when she looked at a structure, she saw a hazy aura of lines which pinpointed open and closed doors, blocked hallways, access elevators, and the like. They... noted well that she saw the same kinds of things when she looked at biological enemies...

What she learned specifically from Rita on many jaunts into SACCADE's danger room (under strict supervision, of course) was that when working with a team, there was no need to keep buffing the tank or heavy hitter - they already hit hard, and could endure physically. But the ranged members of the team, and those with more ecclectic powers like herself, needed those buffs to keep up and make a bigger difference than they might on their own. Having watched replays of a lot of Retail Retali8r's fights, her refrain of "DON'T ANGER THE HEALER" had become the norm. If she couldn't see you, or reach you, she cannot heal you - and she made it absolutely clear thanks to Wilson's Snappy Comebacks class, if a teammate was out of that range.

Though she made a better than typical team leader and would absolutely rise to the challenge if no one else on a team seemed apt, she did prefer to take orders from a more bold spearpoint-type, so that she could remain near the group rather than rushing ahead on her own and then rushing back or waiting for the buffed team to show up. She didn't like engaging enemies alone, as her attacks, while powerful enough to take down minion-level enemies, tended to wear her out more than buffing teammates does. She would be best trusted as a right-hand lieutenant to whoever is leading the team, and liked to work with ** and ** for that reason.

Dragon

Name: Parrot
Gender: Female
Size/Shoulder/Length: Medium-small
*Colors: body mainly brightly maroon red; slightly redder on belly armor; with dark crimson markings on face, dorsal stripe, upper legs and wing arms, and over hips and back legs; backs of wings are solidly maroon, while undersides and neck frill are purple to red-violet spattered with lighter speckle dots; armor is dark crimson; horns, claws, and dorsal ridges are all dark red-maroon; armor stripe black; eyes aqua *all colors subject to change through red-violet, red, pink, purple, and lavender shades only
Features: Rain-Skywing hybrid, only one Skywing grandparent means that her features are predominantly Rainwing, but those colors and her inflight strength are very much Sky-granddad; Notably she lacks the big curved Rainwing claws that the rest of her family has, which is fine because in an urban setting those would just cause a lot of property damage
Powers: Winged Flight, Parrot has larger wings than a typical Rainwing and uses them like an absolute pro, sweeping low over rooftops and trees alike, and is expertly able to weave between trees or telephone poles easily thanks to her heavy and prehensile tail. She can attain a good speed, though she's not the fastest dragon, and she does like having only one rider or less than 200lbs of gear to carry, for maximum agility in the air
Communication, she can speak verbally and tends toward loud, raucus laughter and shrieking mockery, thus her name. She speaks English and a little bit of Draconic but she was raised on Twoarth so it's unlikely she'll ever be very adept at understanding older dragons from her homeworld
* Color Shifting, as above, her colors all can be manipulated though mostly she is subject to the whim of her emotions. However, with some concentration she can get nearly all of her scales to go one color, often blood red or crimson, to garner attention as she's speeding along to pick up a wounded team member or bright violet to show where the boss might be, on to nearly-white pink for hostages to follow out of rubble strewn streets
Prehensile Tail, her tail is heavy and strong, she can wrap it around poles, people, crates, cars... You name it, if it's small enough to get about half of its length around, she can manipulate it with a bit of grace. She can't type or do silly things like that, but she can use it as a pointer or draw crude diagrams, even while she's using a proper dragon sized stylus to draw the rest with her paws!
Venom Saliva, Parrot's spit is hot hot hot, though not really life threatening in any significant way unless the victim happens to also be allergic to capsaicin. And though you don't really want to hear this, folks back at the Rookery have asked her to donate this spit so they can distill it into proper hot sauce. You would not believe how much of a difference this flavoring makes, when making headcrab stew...
Parentage: Entirely up in the air, but it's possible that her father is Starcluster, ridden by Fulton; unknown Rain-Sky mother, she was born on Rookery Earth and moved to Twoarth with some others, so she might show up somewhere! This does make her Prudence's half-sibling.
Origin: Bought from Malady's Market (hh) with lines by Biohazardia, WoF by Tui Sutherland
Other Info: Parrot is young, shown below at her nearly adult size, but she is currently (while Blackberry is in school) slightly smaller and taking dragon classes to supplement her Rookery education with local flavor
