Drop (f)

Dragon Lipatan (to crease), aka Lallitae (crosses the stars)
Description Gender: Male
Size: Medium-Small (long), 8'6" shoulder / 36' long / 66' wingspan
Colors: Purple body with White belly/blaze, Indigo Night-Sky wing sails, Starry white ... wait, those actually are stars, Blue-Violet frills/spines and eyes
Features: Delicate pawed feet with sharp back-facing claw, hide skin, velvet nose, small eyes, ears with sharp fringe, sharp head frill, tuft of sharp frill on rump, tailtip frill, 3 fingered leather...? wings with solid backing and short sail join
Powers: Foldspace - is extremely adept at teleportation and navigation among the stars as well as dimensions and locally. Local teleport is slower than expected given star-based is nearly instant.
Teleport Other - aside from his sheer size, Lipatan can only perform this 'attack', to move an enemy (or anything else) from one spot to another, usually locally but he has been known to fling dangerous enemies into suns or outer space.
Tuck-space - along with moving through space, he can also create it, or perhaps access a specific dimension unique to him that only he can open and close; this space is packed with .... well, junk he's collected. He's a dragon after all, and some of them actually are hoarders. When you've got the ability to create a Vortal space like this, you kinda ... fill it.
Verbal Speech and Instant Comprehension - though he doesn't talk much, Lipatan is able to speak the local language of where ever he lands; his voice is faint and slighlty spooky.
Vortal Speech - he can communicate via quick bursts of telepathy that get his point across without the need for wordy descriptions. He can also just talk that way, but who wants to hear him?
Parentage: Unknown, though Keenan is very interested in finding more of this type of dragon if nothing more than to compare notes. Also note: Lipatan has participated in the Hallowed Silk flight, producing offspring with Starpath (offspring **, **, Tarvechrai, Taanumitae , Livoyee, Ohalaa) and Borealis (??)

Personality: Lipatan is quiet, observant, and seems outwardly a bit judgemental at times. He and Plum get along very well though, their flair for finding space to put things and find them again without issue has other people scratching their heads. He likes being seen as a bit of an enigma, which is why he chooses not to speak all that much.
He really enjoys the company of little Drop, appreciating their color coordination.

Plum didn't much waste time between classes, he didn't even have a locker. What was up with that? Didn't need one, did he? He could just tuck his books away, gym clothes, whatever he needed. Actually he was popular with the art class because not only did he have that weird ability to just stare at a canvas and have something appear on it, he could always be counted on to hand someone that red pastel crayon or a fan brush when they'd lost theirs.

He was a little more quiet than one might expect for being the son of Janto Phoenix, but his friends appreciate that fact too. Of course, even though he knew he wasn't as smart outright as some of his semi-siblings (and certainly not as much as Lane) he was clever as hell with his use of those weird abilities. The key to his artistic success isn't so much that he is some kind of savant, but more that he gives himself time. Time to move between dimensions and hop himself into another body to observe the process... He's sat in on daVinci and Rembrandt, picked up proportions and techniques, and then headed back to Jedi Dawe's class to pass on some neat brush strokes. Is it cheating?

Well, probably, but who's counting?

When the Clones were brought up for dragon testing and hopeful bonding, it seemed there was one in particular who was most interested in this similarly-colored boy. He didn't bother telling anyone else his name, plus he already had a Vortal title: Lallitae, he who folds across the stars. Only a few people can stand to actually look into those huge beautiful starry wing-sails of Lipatan for long. Once the realization hits someone, that those are actually stars, a good number of things start to happen. They wonder, how are they there? Is it a window? Is it a portal? Are they really safe with this dragon's wings open like that?

Plum knows that to the wrong person or creature, standing under those wing sails would be deadly. He can choose to use them as a portal, yes. That bright flash when he does it? That's going up close to a star...

The dragon was introduced to Keenan Lane pretty quickly after Plum bonded him. (And they are truly bonded, Lipatan seemed very relieved to find 'someone right', he didn't want to be alone, even if he seems like a bit of a loner.) With one look at the dragon, Lane gave a grin that very few beings have ever seen: one of instant approval. After all, Lane's office windows, or any given doorway he chooses to create and open, do exactly the same thing as those beautiful wing sails.
