Alastor

Name Alastor
Gender Male, Straight...ish
Homeworld

Half Lumin, quarter Convocation, quarter human (Rookery) *Notably, he is outright more powerful overall than many, due to the Lumin in his line combining with Convocation from Local Lane. His range, overall power, and quantity of items/people affected are usually a few notches better than others in his extended family of clone-cousins

Currently moves between worlds, has a dorm in North Aperture

Powers Telepathy (invasive, strong) - Alastor's telepathy is insidious, if he doesn't want you knowing he's prying, you will not know. But the moment he alerts you, it's all you'll ever think about. Can communicate at distances up to 5 miles, particularly with minds he knows, but can easily connect with normal minds ...
Emotion Control/Sense (strong) - because he can then just reach in to a mind (within about 20 meters at most) and twist it around itself. His ability to discern emotions and name them is important here, he is exceptionally subtle and can change aspects of a single emotion, or the entire mental state of a person with equal ease. His commands cannot be ignored by normal people, but anyone with Vortal, Telepathic, or Magical mental backgrounds will be able to resist... but why would they, his mind is so 'pleasant' to have inside?
Magic Use (elemental, air/water/temp) - his father's influence is very strong in this regard, as an elementalist Lumin, Alorel taught his son how to control local weather effects individually. He can to a very small degree influence the weather about 500 meters away, but it's much more effective up close, to 50 meters. The temperature and humidity can be made as extreme or temperate as desired, and then he can add currents to the air itself to whip around whatever he's got in mind. A heat wave that dries out soggy students? Sure. A mini-blizard to keep an ice rink from melting in the summer? Done. The more different the effects are from the local weather, the harder and more exhausting it is, but he's definitely mastered the art of 'tiny snowstorm that drips down a bare-backed dress'... This is not spell-magic, it's innate Psionics.
Teleportation (dimensiongate) - Though this is a last-ditch power, he can open a portal approximately 8 feet tall (oval, like an Aperture portal) and move through it to virtually anywhere he's ever been. He doesn't dare use this to flip to places he doesn't know, as that could literally be anywhere. It is exhausting, so he prefers to do it only when he knows he'll be safe on the other side. The moment he passes through it, it vanishes.

Alastor could be said to be a bit of a rebel. More what he really was, however, was an avatar of unrest. Though many of his powers and skills were aimed at females, the unease that males felt around him was more than enough to clear a room if he glared at it hard enough. His father's influence, surely. That Alorel and Crimson hadn't torn each other apart when they met said volumes. When it was clear that Alorel was Crimson's 'male of choice' for their 'breeding project' it did raise a few eyebrows. Because of course, he's not even Human. But then again, neither was Darkhanis Paveh nor Nergal, and let's not even get in to Virus. It was quite easy to see that Crimson's son would be the best of both of them.

***

With the advent of the Rookery in full swing, Alastor has taken it upon himself to act as a go-between from Crescent City and the Rookery alike, establishing connections between worlds. Generally he and Teshova only need to walk into an area and attract all the attention. He can sway them with words, if not grace and style.

Dragon Name: Teshova Thain ['repentance', Hebrew]
Gender: Hermaphrodite, presents Male and uses he/him/his pronouns, but can absolutely carry offspring with the 'right' mate's seed
Size/Shoulder/Length: Large Biped 13' hip / 60' l / 80' ws
Colors: 2 color contrast, vibrant red with black, shiny wing, striped legs, flame marked face; mottled/dull crest, ivory horns and claws, red with black eyes
Features: Bipedal (after father), four very strong muscled legs big hips on hind, thumbs on fore with 4 and 3 very large sharp claws; two leather wings with three visible fingers and short wrist thumb all with sharp claws; body is hide, extremely thick skin with rubbery wingsails and a velvet feel everywhere else; face is long and angular with smooth brows, long tongue, external ears, two upcurved swept horns; tall neck crest, tail is long and has tuft
Powers: Winged Flight, Teshova is precise and fast in the air, though you know he's around by the volume of air he moves around. He makes a peculiar sound while flying, probably an effect of his various textures. He is very strong, able to lift a freight car with ease, though... he's not going to. That's for the common folk. While he does allow others to ride him when Alastor insists, he would certainly snub anyone but a potential partner for his rider.
Teleport, as his family is inherently multidimensional, Teshova flips between Carramba and virtually anywhere else with ease. While he can teleport on-site or locally, he prefers to fly instead. He can move quite a bit of mass along with himself when he ports, an entire classroom or small building, for instance, if he's sitting on it with his wings mantling it. This is tiring for him, so he doesn't teleport around willy-nilly. There is no effective range on this ability, because he can show up 'wherever' on a dimension's physical plane.
Communication; Telepathy, Verbal Speech, Teshova's mental voice is deep with a side of deceptively rough - a burr that can bore right into you if you let it, like his tongue. His speaking voice is the same. His telepathic range is about 10 miles, and works best on Vortal or Magical minds.
Breath Weapons, Acid and Fire; With precice shots from his talented mouth, he can toss sticky acid wads that will linger and chew through substances as varied as cloth or Combine walls. Depending on their thickness it may take a while to get through, but the stuff lasts for more than an hour, so if you've got the time, there'll be a hole eventually. His fire is hot already, but with a bit of Alastor's magic boosting him, it can be remarkably plasma-hot for a short time. The fire will also 'stick' to things it hits, like napalm, and burns on its own hot enough to melt most low-temp metals. Anything living that it touches, however, will absolutely scar and never be fully healed, even with magic or Vortal healing. His acid range is around 100 meters, while his fire is precise to around 150 meters, and neither of them can be fanned out or held for duration, they are always single bursts.
Immunity, Teshova is unable to be poisoned or sickened by toxins, whether they're naturally occurring or concocted in a lab. He can breathe foul air, though not radioactive or smog/smoke type gasses, and anything that bites him will be in for a nasty surprise when he doesn't just fall down paralyzed...
Infernal Sense, he can tell whether a creature bears ill will, a background noise of ulterior motives that only he can hear. This ability triggers by itself and is always on, and works at range of about 50 meters.
Parentage: Mother Green Black Zulain, Father Black Red Marquisth Extensive histories on both dragons sides; siblings include Aeshma Thain and Belitseri Thain
Origin: Hallowed Silk almost-flight, Flown at Rookery with a strong side of Carramba High
Other Info: As far as diplomats go, they're... acceptable? Certainly makes a big impression, and that's what counts.
