Dragon

Name: The One Who Keeps Fire In Her Shell, aka "Fire Shell"; called by the Vorts, del-eeya'kih
Gender: Female
Size/Shoulder/Length: medium (bulky) ~9' s / 31' l at full adulthood, is currently around 5' shoulder and 20' long
Colors: Copper shelled orange; highly metallic shell in red-copper, body molten soft orange-gold, with brown sclerite growth and charcoal-brown under that
Features: Lavindwurm - deep sea dwelling, cannot tolerate cool temperatures and must maintain presence by thermal vents or other heat sources;
metallic shell, fleshy underbits as shown;
can revert into shell for protection, since it is almost impenetrable (though they haven't really tested this versus some Combine weaponry and won't unless it seems safe); massive number of eggs, extremely few survive
Powers: Extreme Deep Adaptation as above, with Heat Immunity and requirement, not air breathers
Intelligence, and as such Fire Shell is very curious about these two-leggers who are watching from the safety of their big metal dome
Long Range Telepathy, currently used to make sure that the sea floor near her new home is kept tidy... meaning she gets to eat whatever drops, and whatever starts feeding on those drops... Unusual for her species she does tend to chat with whoever's mind is within range, as she has figured out that the food here isn't going to go anywhere, and talking isn't a distraction you have a mouth to eat and a brain to talk!
Echolocation, that mouth can produce noise of course, which is used to sound out - gently - the locations nearby for movement and features, and she has a good memory for any items which have fallen or are now tilted, their relative structural soundnes, etc
Hot Water Jet, she is still a dragon after all, and her species can produce a blistering hot gout of water that will boil anything that's not capable of tolerating that kind of heat, which is to say anything outside of that immediate biome...
Temperature Manipulation, directly around herself she can briefly maintan an incredibly warm area that she finds to be tolerable. The water wavers with this heat and you will definitely feel it before you see her coming, if you're close
Parentage: Unknown, unrelated to those others scattered about, considered Progenitor
Origin/Art By: Tris'hath, deeps, by Mystic
Other Info: Volunteered to find a new home, and is the youngest of those leaving their homeworld

Skills or Profession: heat guard and maintenance; that's what they're calling it anyway, as she can spot weak points and damage to the facility that the Humans made, alerting the dragons or even those telepathic humans to the danger, and preventing other creatures or further damage

Current Location: The deepest thermal venting by Rapture which is covered with the Hephaestus facility providing heat and energy to the entire city. Though she does come up sometimes to check on the pipes and volcanic flow that is now scattered around the area, she mostly trundles around this warm spot keeping it clean

Personality: enjoys making friends, and there are oh-so many here? While many in her lineage may have the paranoid notion that any given large creature might be there to take over 'their' vents, there are plenty of them to go around, both dragons and vents. Anyone that has had conversations with her knows that her bright mind equals the shine of her gorgeous shell, and she enjoys taking brief strolls over to where the glass walled enclosure lets those humans and even smaller dragons get a look at her as she patrols for food. She truly enjoys looking at the various features on the sea floor, from the vent worms and caverns, to the innovative human construction Rapture, even if most humans and even some of their dragons are 'blind' down here beyond the meager reach of their structure's lighting, she can appreciate it from a distance
Events or History: As with the others leaving their home territory distantly behind, Fire Shell scooted off when a strange transparent dragon illuminated the way. He patrols at the same depths as she, but for other curiosities, and tends to reside where there is a cooler temperature and more conventional life. He does however alert other dragons to her presence and even some of those whales (and whale-adjacents who visit from the Void) that if they're going to be feeding on things messily, go ahead and drop those carcasses down toward this area, where other feeders will provide sustenaince for her!
