Dragon

Name: Gurrah'meh-darr, named by the Vortigaunts to interpret his unspoken title "from below, the light is filtered"
Gender: Male
Size/Shoulder/Length: medium-large (broad 'wingspan') 50' l / 55' ws
Colors: body transparent near-black green; fin fade teal; glowies aquamarine
Features: hybrids of Sea Phoenix and Dragonfish Dragon biased strongly towards the sea phoenix. Names are nonverbal, but when "translated" should be based off of an emotion or event that resonates with this dragon. Adult size can range between 40' to 80' long. Traits: - They are deep-water dragons and require a high-pressure water environment to survive. They cannot survive in shallow water for more than a few minutes, and their bodies collapse when removed from water. - They take 20-30 years to mature and can live for centuries, barring illness or injury. - They are sapient, but do not have or use word-based language. They do not bond, themselves, but can go on to be bonding candidates.
Powers: Deep Water Adapted, Underwater Breathing (gills), obviously these cannot come too close to the surface and are ideally suited to life incredibly far down, meaning they can see in the utter blackness somehow, and produce their own glowing lures to tempt unwary fish for their meals
Telempathy (emotions, sensations, sonar-based telepathic noises) - while they do communicate it is in a language that is far closer to a primal Vortessence mixed with whale crooning, entirely mental and not vocalized in any way
Distracting Eye - While his glow-bob bits are certainly good for hunting, they are also incredibly useful for escape from things that are hunting him. Pretend to be a school of fish that scatters, draw away the hunter from his body, and the like. Since he's also transparent it's incredibly difficult to get a visual bead on him when just 'looking' out the windows of Rapture, but if you see a set of swaying glows, it's likely him
Eternal Patience - for up to two weeks, he can go without food while simply waiting, pondering things in his own mystical way. It's possible that Gurrah'meh-darr has more than a couple weeks worth of waiting going on, but no one really asks him what he's waiting for
Hunter's Mark - perhaps a Vortal ability, he can sense and track a single target in water indefinitely until they leave it, which makes for interesting games of hide and seek with the other water-dwelling dragons; if the target leaves the water, say to enter Rapture's dry dome, the mark is lost
Intimidate - like many of 'him', Gurrah'meh-darr is intimidating without even trying, and causes a sensation of unease, fear, and wariness which increases with proximity to him. While he can and does turn this ability on and off, it's more often than not just 'how he is', and no one knows who or what might make him drop the intimdating act. At least, who or what dragon out there, because it's absolutely certain that the two-legged man-shaped versions of this dragon definitely have their 'one who prompts comfort'...
Parentage: Dam: Abyss-Found, Blue-Indigo Sea Phoenix; Sire: Malacostei, Violet-Blue Dragonfish Dragon
Origin: Phe's Mermay; hatched in the waters of Tris'Hath, in very deep reaches closer to the Warren than anything else. https://derivativeworks.dreamwidth.org/
Other Info: (many pieces of information copied from original giveaways on Nexus forum)

Skills or Profession: What possible profession could a deep-water version of Kallah Vahh have? His motives are his own, and his skills seem fairly mundane if you count 'being a watger dragon' as a skill set

Current Location: Outside Rapture, lurking around in the kelp and thermal vents

Personality: As most others, "mysterious" is his way. If he's befriended some of the other dragons down there, only he and they know, and they all keep their secrets.
Events or History: hatched at some point perhaps decades ago, and 'somehow' traveled to Rookery Earth. That's literally all anyone could know about him, and all he will admit to.
