Ferilon Candidates for Dragons!
NhieuTay somewhat resented having to be shuffled around a little. It wasn't his fault, he'd chosen at least two places that somehow lost their eggs and vanished. But he preferred to forget the incidents and move on with his life. Finally, there came a time when he was brought to a chilly mountain with dark red sands, and ... the dragons upon them were amazing.
Not only were they big enough for the entire tribe to ride (probably bigger than the Glenn dragon that Thoihra had bonded) but they had so many limbs, they resembled half the Ferilon group! And they had markings, oh sweet markings... Including the ones that mirrored NhieuTay himself.
"I cannot even believe how amazing you are," NhieuTay said, of one particular dragonet. If he didn't know better, the dragon could have been his own sibling, a twin of sorts. For his hide was a pale green shade, and his wingsails were brilliantly striped in black and white! Just like Nhieu's!
"What is superhero? You want to be a super-hero. Can I be one too? Where will we be going?"
So many questions, from the feather-whiskered dragonet. He couldn't even fly yet, but he had enough wings to flap, that's for sure!

Eventually they would learn how to properly get into the air, and Kailyain Winterheart would reign supreme up there in the clouds. Zipping around leaving a trail of vapor through fog or the low-clinging clouds, able to circle back on himself several times before needing to be untangled... But also he learned how to change that shape of his. Along with other shapes. Need fewer legs? More volume to those wings? Done and done. And size? Sure enough, there were a few moments when Kailyain was outright mistaken for his bond NhieuTay as they sat around their campsites, but people then realized there were two of him... Kailyain and NhieuTay would both laugh their little heads off.
"Ask first though," NhieuTay said, when his other power showed up. "Always ask first."
He could shift other people, not just himself. Both shape and size, though not coloration, so there was that one time when NhieuTay was the same size as his dragon! It would only last a few hours, and whichever person - or the dragon himself - were shifted would slowly and painlessly revert to their normal configuration.
There was that one time they gave Thoihra more body shape to spread those wing arms out a bit, and he positively loved it! Mahno's missing body parts proved less easy to form, but still worked in the same manner as any shift: he had an upper arm, an ear, his antler grew in... and then went back to their typically half-present state.
But as heroes went, they were a boon to their team. No one doubted that this wing-heavy noodle was king of the skies over their forest!
