Lilugo Family Ties

The Lilugo family's name simply means "follows the dreams" or "pursues the visions". This is a literal translation, lih luu go, the spirit in dreams properly performed. They have followed these dreams only in recent years. Their collective father Ordo Lilugo is, himself, still unable or unwilling to return to the family or even gather them together. No one knows quite why he hasn't responded, but they know he's still alive out there somewhere.

Each of his children, most of them born from different mothers, have strong common features. Their skin, hair, and eyes all follow a 'grey, bicolor tan/green, copper' color scheme though often modified by their mother's coloration and intensity. They also all have a strong blood tie to one another, able to sense at modest distances that there is another out there nearby. But also they have shown aptness toward Ferilon training, a minor power at best so far, but perhaps there will be a Pelatih out there with much stronger influence over the creatures.

But those creatures are why this trio has been able to find each other in the first place! At a show held by Kyo on one of his large Holds, the other two attended to display their own Ferilons in the hopes of perhaps winning enough to invest or at least buy out of indentured servitude. At that time, neither Teopha or Zfu were free, and paperwork was in progress only for Teopha as he'd apparently just inherited a Steed and a carriage house for it from 'someone' in his line.

Both Budak from birth, Teopha and Zfu knew they were destined for better things, they just didn't know quite how or why! But the moment that they'd all met in the open-air lobby of the show arena, they all understood deeply that they were indeed a family.

One worth looking into, Kyo knew. He'd been blessed with a generous mother, where it seemed the others weren't so lucky. Also as the eldest of this group, he had access to his own finances - enough to simply buy out and Raise both his half-siblings from their meager lives. While Teopha's former Lord was fine with this, even granting him ownership of that lovely 'matching orange' Ferilon he'd brought up and trained, Zfu's Suzerinne was a bit less interested in giving up her lovely servant. A few moments of intense psionic scrutiny later, however, Kyo pushed a paper with an offer on it... and a threat of exposure of that Suzerinne's transgressions from the night before at the casino Kyo also owned. That offer was instantly accepted.

Though neither Teopha or Zfu originally knew their family name, Kyo made sure that their paperwork for all Freeing and Raising included it. He also nudged both of them into Tuantana classes: yes yes as a Budak you probably never knew how to formulate a contract or figure out land hold values, but now it mattered. And somehow, with that training directly from Kyo, something happened to click in them all. Quickly enough they passed those exams, a deeper understanding of such matters than either of them could have had as normal Budak. Their family blood called out, and was answered - by ancestors, or perhaps deceased cousins, siblings, or whoever else shared Ordo's blood.

The visions intensified in the next few years, as they dedicated a portion of each season to scouting out their own at Ferilon shows across the globe. The fact that they had very well behaved and properly groomed show Ferilons didn't hurt there!

But each of them has their own ideals and other goals, their lives aren't all always tied together. But they are best when they're teamed up, that's for sure!

Will there be dragons that approach this trio or their kin? Possibly, but will they be local ones, or off-world based? We'll see!
