Stone Dragon site: Bepa's Dragon Cliffs

204 Units, outlaying regions of Fi'ir that serve for farming, grazing animals and Hern rats work just fine for Stone dragons. Bepa's 'open air' policies mean that there are several small structures, and lots of animals wandering freely.

Pairing Restrictions:

Must be very strong, have strong empathic or dragon control abilities, and usually 'high altitude' survival or experience.

Beast Mistress Bepa continues to keep her title, but her actual Status is that of Dragon Breeder. She enjoys nothing more than watching dragons and playing with her Hern rats. She has green skin with yellow fingers, facial marks and toes, her hair is blue-green and usually done in a simple 4-braids with cropped flattop, and has green yellow eyes. While Bepa has a ton of natural charisma, she lacks a lot of basic social skills - so don't be surprised if she offends higher ranked folks with her brash laughter and over-friendly actions. She has a strong empathic ability with specifically Hern rats, but once Stone dragons were introduced to her she discovered that it extends to them as well. She has a decently strong ability with sensing through some objects, so she uses a series of connected fence post brass tops to 'see' her way around the territory. Placing these at intervals around her strong range, she can watch her dragons, rats and other transient creatures without actually requiring her to run herself ragged.

In doing that, however, Bepa's land is vast indeed. Her 'fences' hardly keep anything in or out, but she doesn't much mind. Those creatures which she claims are 'hers' come to her when she needs them and respond to her sweetly worded requests as though they were well-trained and perfectly loved Slaves. The landscape is huge, towering cliffs, bordered by lowlands of rough terrain. Mists collect in the mornings and evenings, and make for a rather impressive setting all in all. In the winter time, as much of Fi'ir, the peaks and cliffs are covered in icy snow, and the lowlands collect span after span deep of powder or sleet. The facilities she has built there are functional, and based loosely upon her favorite Breeder Vanya's "Inheritance of Snow" in Emer, with nice thick wood walls, warm fire pits, and double windows to keep the places warm. (She duplicates that place in her Liste Holding as well. She's rather fond of both him and his birthplace.) There are four small such stations scattered around the edges of her Holding, and one large area with an animal-breeding building of more conventional stone and concrete construction near the center. Her lands are guarded by both Hern rats and Stone dragons. Anyone crazy enough to try getting past them without an invitation will probably be torn to shreds and shared by the leaders of either type of creature.

The Stone dragons hatched at this locale are more commonly 'wild' than bred. Bepa encourages certain traits in her dragons as well as Hern rats - playfulness and a more gregarious behavior included. However... Play for a stone dragon might kill many smaller individuals. Only those with the strength to keep up with a large beast should apply. Her dragons tend to run in the dark brown through pale beige color range, with the occasional pure white or blue-grey - snowy color variations. Only these Stone dragons seem to be particularly good with 'playing with others', so to speak, and they do seem to get on well with both other creatures or dragons, and larger groups of either. They work very well when properly trained, and work in teams better than most other Stone dragons do across Zekira. If a Dragon Master cannot properly reward their Stone dragon as Bepa has instilled in hers, it will revert to a more sullen and angry beast - like their wild counterparts. So... keep praising your Stone dragons. They'll be good. Promise.
