Animal Psionic Suite - Xaya's powers are all strongly focused on animal life and not humanoids, but can in some cases affect humanoids who have heavy animal genetic splices. (Note that according to the WoZ rule book most animals including Hern Rats and Steeds have intelligence ratings of 25 or less, and they are considered among the smarter animals of the world.) These powers all work at Major tier even though some may be considered Special or Minor tier otherwise. While she focuses on smaller animals for training and behavior purposes, she can affect any animal overall.
-- Sense, Locate, and Identify Animal - within about 50 meters she is able to detect animal life that is bigger than a mouse, focused on animals that are around 20-40 BT (to large dog sized). If she has been introduced to an individual animal, she can track it with this power at up to 500 meters distance, and identify specific creatures among large groups of them at 25 meters. The Sense portion of this power is always on, though she easily ignores most of its input
-- Animal Empathy - she can tell the mood and aggression level of animals at up to 10 meters or line of sight if there's a greater distance or larger creature. If the animal has a more advanced mind (Int up to 15) she can identify greater detail in its reasoning for being moody
-- Animal Telepathy - any animal or animal-spliced person's mind can be reached and communicated with. Animals of Int 40 or more are actually less easily spoken to, but she has a 'sweet spot' of between 10 and 40 (typical for smaller animals and pets that can be trained, including flitters and Hern Rats) allowing her to almost instantly get ideas and concepts across to whatever degree the animal is able to understand. This aids in training tremendously. This can be done at distances up to 100 meters easily, 200 with concentration, and to known animals that she's working with up to 500 meters while they're being trained
-- Summon Small Animals - within 1km she can issue a psionic summons to either specific known animals in the area, typically up to 8 individual animals under 40 BT each, but she can push this to include 'any' animals in an area about 250 meters across with her at the center, including things as small as mice and up to Steed or even small dragon sized. This will alert an animal that 'their mate/offspring/pack is in trouble must come immediately'. It is not nuanced, this is basically somewhere between a 'dinner bell', a 'raid siren', and 'help me Obi-wan'. Note that if she is injured or distressed, or in considerable danger, this power will go off arbitrarily, and whatever shows up to combat 'the thing she's dealing with' will cooperate until that thing is either driven off or dead...
-- Control Animal - used mainly for training at ranges less than 100 meters, or with first-contact toward an aggressive or distressed creature, she can wrest control over their emotions and behaviors, causing even very aggressive animals to calm at least a bit. The higher their intelligence, the more she has to concentrate on this change, so a markedly stubborn Steed for instance would be quite hard to wrangle, while a snuggly small feline easily listens to her coaxing. Overall this works to tame wild or feral animals for future breeding or training, as she doesn't like doing it too many times to one animal. If they're that stressed out, she'd rather know why they are acting this way, is something wrong?
-- Train Group of Animals - can be used on individual creatures or teams of up to 4 animals of any size, though she typically works only with animals such as Ferilons and pet dogs and cats, reptiles, and whatever else 'take' her training. She won't bother with animals that either cannot behave or cannot interpret visual and aural cues, since many of her clients are just normal Zekiran people without psionic powers to aid them. But within that range are hundreds of pet-type animals. Often enough she'll go to a client's home, see what kind of behaviors are desired or needed, see which animals are all in that home, and how their owners act and behave, themselves. If she cannot train their owners to issue the same commands, she'll suggest another course of action or - in very rare cases - simply refuse to allow them to own the animal for fear they'd be abusive. There are no Pelatih on the planet who like seeing pets in the wrong hands... With her training active however, she can teach virtually any pet that can perform actions such as sit, stand, shake, roll over, etc - those simple in-house behaviors, within hours. *As long as their owner can emulate the commands, they will need only one or perhaps two sessions. She can also work on 'show' behaviors, particularly for Ferilons and dogs, that can be very complicated. From two to five step behaviors, each portion must be learned first, then connected together with additional training. If a pet or creature has the potential to become a service animal such as 'medical needs' or 'emotional support' she loves working closely with both person and pet to make sure that their needs are all addressed correctly - she likes having all the contact with their Sehatan and other Pelatih, trading hints and learning more about issues that the people of this world face. Her training ability is rather strong but self-limited, she'll take on teams of no greater than four animals for show purposes, and taps out at aggressive beasts like Hern Rats, they're definitely beyond her ability to work with easily. The range on her training is closer than control, under 50 meters is ideal and usually covers all but the biggest show arena or patrol areas, and even then she's got legs and can keep up with trotting dogs...
* Note that she does have four arms, right? When training animals here on Zekira she either uses only two arms actively for visual commands, or pairs her left and right arms to act as one since most people here only have the two arms. Don't want to confuse your pet if you don't have multiple hand gestures!
Dragon Tunings - ? Unknown, with any Pelatih-style power set, may come the skills and temperment to deal with dragons of any kind. Plenty of Zeddians have bonded or sponsored dragons across the Nexus however, so there's precedence for it to be here
