Name: General^ Weebie Fuzzy ** note 2026 ... I'm going to change the names here because *she was never named Weebie*

Gender: Female, bi

Age/DOB: probably around 40? / will be 40 eternally in appearance, but will definitely be immortal

Origin/Species: 'Imperium' Spaceverse! This universe has been folded into both the Guide and Protectorate from some indistinct 'verse created in the early 80s with a comedy-but-political-charge to it mostly because I never developed it otherwise

Family: Only her crewmates now, but... they do visit some fun places with some very interesting and hunky people!

Other: You might think she's bubblebrained, and... she kinda is.

Height: 6'4", actually the tallest of the trio of Madness, Confusion, and Fuzzy...

Weight: 180 and all muscle

Hair: fluffy bright yellow-blond, an absolute haystack of it that covers small outward-pointing catlike ears (more like a pallas cat's than anything else)

Eyes: vertical iris and pupil, red, large, under bushy dark brown brows, which also appear under her cheekbones

Appearance: brown furry skin with darker paw-pad brown under fingers and toes/feet; extremely muscular and well toned, she's hardly a soft furry creature, she's a hardbody! Wears the purple and heliotrope of her career path, whatever that is, and has always got a slinky sway to her walk. Like most of the furry people in this 'verse, she lacks a tail, though she's always been wondering whether that was because it was removed, or because they were all engineered that way

** Note that anything in the story below indicating she is a panda or red-panda is false, Weebie is more feline than anything else. I am retconning a lot of this to be part of an adventure that the Caledrus had long long ago, she will be finding a full sized dragon shortly (4.12.26)

Genetic Abilities: unknown originally; current additions - she is incredibly durable and can withstand both high and low pressure and atmospheric conditions including deep sea pressure and almost-no atmosphere, though she will tire out eventually she usually pushes through yet another rep or yet another fight because That's How She Do

Enhancements or Augmentations: none beyond an implanted communicator that also helps translate and locates her with shipboard equipment

Skills or Profession: I guess after all the stuff below she's an Admiral now! She used to be a general... Why did I say she was an admiral originally? She is a space faring feline from a universe where there are a variety of alien life forms including a vast array of furries. I suppose that she and her crewmates had been part of a military operation or organization for quite a while before their universe fused with the current Guide-related one. She definitely saw combat at some point in her career, likely young, but also was successful in whatever that campaign was. She shot through the officer training academy and has quite a few awards, none of which she displays - it's not that she's not proud of them, but that she feels that whatever is in front of her is the important part now. She can shoot, survive, explore, and document (run think shoot live) with gusto.
Personality: A touch on the vapid side, but perhaps that's because she's never quite found her true calling or core self worth. Always reaching for something that seems slightly out of reach. But now, she knows how to get what she really wants (at least, in this moment on the Caledrus) and always enjoys company that includes dragons.

Events or History: (original page written back in like 2001?)

Hitch Hiker's Log

General Weebie Fuzzy .... whoops recently promoted?

Visit: BISHEN REALM

Weebie walked around the Bishen realm rather sullenly. She watched Woodstock and Four-Star get their beautiful Bishen dragons, and she longed for one herself. She was in a funk.

Axarr, who had not yet expressed much interest in having a companion such as they had, saw her associate and plopped down beside her near the forest edge.

"What's bothering you, 'Weebs?" Axarr nudged her furry companion.

"Oh... nothing. Just that I love these bishel. Look at them all! They're so neat! With the wings, and the tails, and their cute paws! And the colors! You never know what kinda color they'll be... Will it be a flier? A red one? Or a blue? Or one with legs?" She drew in a mighty sigh. "I want to have a companion too. They're so adorable!"

Axarr grimaced a bit, around her eyepatch. "Weebie, they're not meant to be pets! I mean sure they're cute and all, but they're intelligent creatures -- to hear Woody and Four-Star talk about them anyway. And that big old Kailan fellow, he seems totally civilized."

Weebie leveled her friend with a stern look, as if to say 'duh!' "Well, duh! I know they're not pets, Axarr, I'm not dumb, you know. I *am* an admiral."

"... Sometimes I wonder..." Axarr muttered, but as per normal, Weebie was hardly paying attention at that point.

"So... why would you want one then, anyway? I mean, Four-Star tells me they're quite an effort. But his Tuz is pretty neat. I do have to admit that." She looked around and saw on the hill where their ship had crashed, that Tuzkigyo (was that how he pronounced it? Axarr always got it wrong) was helping "weld" bits of the broken stabilizing wing back onto the ship.

"I want one maybe so they could help me find ..." Weebie looked away, shyly, "other cute critters, who are pets. Maybe a Bishen would want to have a pet with me. If we found the right ones, we could have a cute little family all together, and if we got a boy critter and a girl critter they might even have little babies, and everything." She looked back up at Axarr with a full on beaming grin. Her eyes were half vacant dreaming about such a little family unit.

"... You have some family issues, don't you." Axarr muttered, while getting to her feet. She used Weebie's shoulder to help herself up. "Girl, why not go find that Kailan dragon. Maybe he would be able to help you out. It doesn't look like there are any eggs to be had right now, though."

Weebie stood and looked, sly, at Axarr. "So you HAVE been looking out for the new eggs, haven't you?" She nudged Axarr's shoulder, and darted away quickly. Axarr was by far stronger than the fluffy feline-faced woman, and usually, much quicker too. But Axarr merely turned away and grumbled something about 'not the way you think I am, brazza frazzing cute cuddly...'

Weebie watched her friend as she stalked away. She shrugged, and told herself, "of course I love families. Families are wonderful things." As she walked along the path, she said, "just because I never had one except for the Imperium's Grand Fleet... It was nice of them to raise me."

Finally, she located the Kailan's particular roost. She noticed that there was an announcement of sorts plastered to a post nearby, and she read the rules about this latest nest of eggs. There weren't eggs, there was a mystery. Fourteen images of various types, which were scattered about the Refuge which was nearby.

A sort of contest. Thrilled, she called up to the Kailan as he snoozed, "I'm going to go find these seals, sir! It'll be great fun, won't it? I think so! I'll come back when I'm done... I hope I won't be long, if there's an egg out there I don't want it to be alone any longer than it already has been!"

And with that, Weebie started along her journey. She saw a small number of others wandering the same paths which she herself trod, and giggled. "I'm sure others will be interested in this hunt. But I hope that the Kailan wasn't fooling. Fourteen Seals... That's a lot. I have more places to look than... I have fingers and toes!" She glanced at those same fingers, three fluff-covered digits and a thumb, with a similar foursome of nubs on her feet. She'd gone barefoot only a few days after they crashed. No point in wearing out perfectly good Imperial boots, when there were no other Imperials about but herself, Axarr and Four-Star!

The first thing Weebie did when she saw the Refuge, was to enter the kind of office-place she found. There, she met a very kindly woman who seemed rather familiar. She was a caretaker of creatures, and that made Weebie's heart swell.

"So you keep all of these wonderful creatures company? And keep them fed and warm?" Weebie bubbled over.

Indyana, that was the caretaker's name, grinned and added, "or cold, if they don't like it warm. But yes, all the creatures here are in good hands. Now, the Kailan has instructed me to hide these seals, so I've hidden them." She glanced her eyes across the room and somewhat pointedly looked at something dangling on the wall near her.

Weebie took a look first, at the map of the place. She set herself to it, got out her notebook and pen, and described herself a path. Very organized, this furry girl.

She thanked Indy and skipped outside. But just before she left the room she glanced up at the door way. There, she saw the first of the Seals! A pretty picture of a swan on water! She took a note of it, and turned to confirm it with Indyana. This was the seal of Homeland! Her first Seal! Weebie bolted back to Indy and hugged her, then ran back out!

She chose the Forest path to go on first.

On the path, the first thing she ran into was a beautiful green dragon! But there was no seal anywhere near, so she continued. Onward. Shortly, she met a beautiful young woman with two pretty feathery-creatures on her shoulders. U'haria, the woman, watched as Weebie almost tripped over the next Seal. It had a number of cute Flamingoes on it. "That is the Kin seal," U'haria stated, and Weebie sketched it down, wrote its name, and where she had found it.

"Thank you, I hope to see you again!" Weebie called, as she continued her travel. She did not spend much time with the winged leopard, though it was a truly beautiful creature. Another young woman with two more of the adorable featherdrakes approached, and they discussed this quest she was on. But since there was no sign of another Seal, she politely excused herself, scratched the featherdrakes on the shoulders, and went along. Around the next bend in the trail, she located an elf woman, and two astoundingly beautiful creatures she called Cypran. "I hope that I might find something as beautiful as these, with my Bishen friend, if I earn the right to have one..."

When the forest overhead grew tangled and dark, she ran into another elf, a male this time, and his own two lovely Cypran. He had a toy of one of them -- and another Seal lay nearby! One showing the big puffy clouds and a bright sun, the Energizing Seal! While he is putting it back where it was hidden, Weebie wrote down in her book its locale, name and description. It was not proper to pick it up and keep it, of course! Why, if she did that, someone else might not have a chance to find it!

Weebie met another girl elf, and noticed their habit of having featherdrakes around. They were lovely, but not what Weebie was looking for. Then there was a silly little man, with another little drake! The next step of her path was apparently the lair of two cute fire lizards, but then she saw a Bishen dragon!

"Jarod!" She called out, having been introduced to the green Arboreal Bishel before. They greeted one another and then Weebie was about to leave, on her journey. She mentioned the Kailan's hunt, and Jarod whisked himself up into the trees. He showed her a Seal, one with a whirlwind painted upon it. "The Zephyr," Weebie wrote. She nodded, and thanked him with a grin.

She saw two twittering dragons, brightly colored, in the next part of the woods. By this time, Weebie was getting a little winded. It had been a long day for her already, and she wondered when this hunt would end? She'd only found -- she counted -- five, of the fourteen. With slumping shoulders, she carried herself on. She was attracted by a shining, glittering object (when had she not been attracted to such things?) and guarding it, or being guarded by it, was a butterfly-winged creature. It rested near an egg, but there was no Seal. She moved on. There was another of the butterfly-winged dragon things, and even a pair of their grublike young resting in a bush nearby. Still, no Seal.

Just as Weebie thought she was going to drop from walking so much (as she was somewhat out of shape, here on this planet... what with no drill instructors and marching...) she was accosted by a monkey and a flying wolf! She cleared out of there, not much into monkeys... But as she realized that the trail was circular and she had found herself almost back at the Refuge's main center, she saw something glimmering in a bush. It was a Seal! One with two geese, or ducks maybe, flying over clouds. In her mind, she felt the word ... TRUST. And so she did, trusting that the Seal was named Trust, and that she was entrusted to put it right back where she'd found it, moving along back to the main cabin.

She would continue her search, tomorrow! After a meal, and some rest!

After collapsing in the lush grass near the Refuge's main office, and waking up refreshed, Weebie continued her search for the fourteen Bishen Seals. She had several already, but she was not even halfway there yet. So she decided to continue in the "Caverns" of the refuge. What would she find here? Well, first, she located a joltingly bright creature and its companion, a pretty lilac colored flitter. Next, moving deeper within the caverns, she located another of those brightly glimmering dragon stones. It shone on another gorgeous butterfly-winged dragon, and two of its companion, but not on any Seals.

She passed through a large dragon's cavern, and the way that the pinkish dragon looked at her seemed a bit queer. They spoke for a while, but she was distracted and went on her way.

Deeper into the caverns she went, until she encountered a pair of dragons as different as night and day! They flew around her, chatted with Weebie, but they had no information about any Seals. She moved on, hoping that her small flashlight would hold out if she had to go on like this all day.

She walked past a dragon who seemed unwilling to part with its egg, then was accosted by a gigantic red and white dragon! She squealed, but then the smaller white and cream companion it had calmed the larger one down long enough to let her pass. Surely there was no Seal here.

At last, she came to a person sitting in a cavern with a beautiful eagle headed lion. The girl, Ramona, had a ball of fire she was playing with, but in the light too, there was a small square with the image of two people below a beautiful fall leaf. It was one of the Time seals, of Fall! Weebie took down the information, thanked Ramona, and went on.

She still had the strange feeling that that pinkish dragon wanted to tell her something.

Shortly, as the chill in the cavern began to get to Weebie, even through her furred skin, she saw another person! This one was another girl, but she had wings! With her was a large red-colored winged cat, and lo and behold, another Seal! "How odd, that the Summer seal is in a cavern of such a chill!" Weebie commented to herself, on her way out.

Weebie's eyes were caught by another dragon crystal. It spun and danced, and then she noticed the green dragonet flitting around her as well. There were toys galore scattered on the floor of this cave, but no Seal. So Weebie bowed to the little flit, and went on her way.

Then, almost outside of the cavern system, Weebie froze. There were two beautiful wolves, and what appeared to be their young cub. She stayed well clear of them, so she didn't seem like she was attacking them or their territory. Not like that other winged wolf!

It was the end of the line, leading out of the cavern and into a set of pools and ponds, rivers and a strange underwater world.

Weebie looked at her collected information, and counted only half the required Seals. The day was still young, so she continued on!

Weebie wasn't really happy about having to get wet. It wasn't like she had a towel with her -- Woodstock would be furious if she found out that she'd lost her towel somewhere before meeting up again... Weebie took a deep breath and started walking near the ponds.

It was while she was wandering into a deep cavern she heard a pretty lyric. It was by a blue dragon, who sat annoyed at himself that he could not finish the rhyme. Yet, Weebie was always pretty good at that sort of thing, and she helped him out! In return he showed her that he had a Seal! It was the Feasting seal, with a big fish picture on it!

Next, Weebie found a very strange looking tiny dragon or newt thing, with a feather on it's neck. She progressed further into the caverns and water.

It wasn't long before she realized that she was fully under water now! A moment of panic ensued, but then Weebie realized there was a bubble of air around her. And, that she'd found another Bishel, a blue aquatic female, named Athena. She greeted Weebie happily, and was pleased when Weebie located another Seal, one with a cresting wave upon it. "This is the Aqua seal, of course. Remember well where it lay."

"I will, and thank you!" Weebie skipped out of there, much happier.

Just before getting out of the water, Weebie noticed that there was another Dragon Crystal glimmering nearby. Curious of course, she investigated to find a blue version of the green dragon she'd seen shortly before, swimming around. There were more toys around, and... Scattered among them, was another Seal! This had a guitar on it, and she picked it up. Echinacea, the sea dragon, instructed her that this was the Singing seal!

Weebie was well on her way to finding all the seals!

When she exited the water, she was accosted by a large blue dragon, but the dragon was calmed by a sea nymph. That was very nice, Weebie thought. Indy certainly has a lot of people around here helping her!

Jealously, she continued walking. "How many creatures are IN this refuge!?" Weebie asked the air, as she got the soggy out of her fur. "I mean... All I want to do is start a little family of something cute... And here are all these beautiful big dragons and sea snakes and... "

She huffed, and continued on her path. She was met by another girl with a featherdrake. "I wonder if I ought to get one of those myself," Weebie muttered, there certainly were a lot of them to be had, at least around here!

Upon reaching the last leg of the aquatic journey, Weebie realized that there was someone to help her cross into the hot, deserty parts of the Refuge. That was good. She wasn't used to all this change in climate all the time. Her sinuses were clogging up, and she hoped the dry desert air would clear them up!

She went with a native of the area, met a little fennec, and saw a beautiful hunting horse, before she found her guide to the desert.

It was getting on to evening when she entered the desert. Weebie was hungry, and tired, and getting rather cranky.

"I should have rested at the refuge office," she complained to the night.

Then, a tiny hedgehog spoke to her. This was meant to be her guide through the desert? A teeny hedgehog? Well, it was certainly better than nothing! So she followed until they reached a lovely red colored Egyptan, a foxy thing with wings and many tails!

Then, they passed by not one but three beautiful dark dragon-like creatures, called Emana.

"Oh, look, there's another cocoon of one of those Egyptan creatures. I hope I get one of those too..." Weebie was getting very sleepy. But she must make it out of the desert before it got too hot, or close to the day.

At last, she saw a red Bishen, one which she'd seen at the Realm before. His name was Pierre. He seemed to be having quite a hard time, he was sniffling and snorting, and gave off a sneeze. Of course, Weebie's mothering instinct was very strong. She offered to help him, with all this dust around in the sands, it was no wonder he was snorting it all up his little nose!

But Pierre had other designs. He told Weebie that she had been very kind to him, and he offered her -- another Seal!

It had a volcano on it, and he announced that this was the Terra seal.

Weebie had grown very weary over the course of this long day. But she still had to get back to the Refuge. So she kept moving, her legs remembering if her heart did not, how she had trained with her military 'family' and grown strong.

They wouldn't find her out here. Not with Axarr and Four-Star. And with Woody. Because she realized that they'd been on the run for so long, no one even remembered they'd left their posts. And who wanted them anyway? A trio of strange Admirals (well, two and a general, but who was counting?) and their outdated ship?

Well, Weebie kept trudging along. She reached a valley of night, and looked around, as if in a dream.

One of those blessed butterfly winged dragons was there, guarding another of the Egyptan cocoons. But what was best, was that there was a Seal nearby! It had an adorable family of penguins and their eggs. It made Weebie both happy and sad to see this. She was told this was... the Love seal, and that this was where it belonged.

Weebie barely could write, it was late and dark and she was so tired. But she did, and then moved on. Two Lyris kept her company as she went through this twilight world, they said little but made sure Weebie stayed on the path. Suddenly there were three tiny little birdlike creatures making lots of noises at her, and a big red dog-thing. As if in half nightmare, she ran away, not even wanting to know what was going to eat her and what would stay away.

Finally stopping near a low cave, she saw a queer boy with dark wings, and a little teeny cute puppy-like critter. He offered to take her to see something called a Melcey. She agreed, hoping that it could cook.

The Melcey was named Cu, and ... beyond it was a Seal! A seal of Time, with the Winter look of a snowflake upon it. With relief, Weebie thanked the boy, the Melcey, and the pup, and left again.

What happens next? Well... Weebie's a little fuzzy about it herself.

When Weebie finally woke up, she realized that she'd made her way back to the Refuge's office area. How? She'd only been asleep for a moment, hadn't she?

It might have been the two blue-colored Cypran or was it Cyprana? It didn't matter. They probably took her back where she belonged.

Weebie thankfully rested, her head on a pillow of her own notes.

When she woke, it was brightly morning again. She felt a bit tired, achy. But she was elated. She'd spent only a couple days, intense days, but she'd found... Almost all of the Seals!

All but one, in fact. One... ONE!

She grumbled. When she looked at the sign about where to go, in the Realm, she slumped. "There is no other part? Nothing I missed? I saw everything, I thought!"

Indy patiently looked out of her office window, at the furry girl. She whispered, "it's out there, you just have to find it again..."

Weebie tilted her head, her furry ears twitching. "Hmn. Maybe I did miss something. Oh my feet! I'm going to need such a foot massage from Four-Star when I get back!"

But she thought... Where hadn't she been? What had not been done? Wait! Wait! That one dragon, the big pinkish one. That had bothered her. They had spoken but she got the feeling that she'd missed something, that maybe if she asked the right question...

So she headed back through the Caverns, where most of the big dragons dwelled. She finally met up with the big pinkish one. Actually, she was more purple, now that Weebie was seeing her in better light.

"Blazing Star?" Weebie asked, "was there something I missed yesterday? I was in such a rush to see everything, I think I must have missed something very important."

Blazing Star rose to her feet, and laughed. "You might have, at that."

They went into the library, the one place that Weebie had missed on her way in. There were many piles of books, devices and things, and there was --

"That's it! There it is! The first Seal!"

"Don't you mean the last seal?" Blazing star asked. "You have a whole arm full of notes about the others, don't you?"

Weebie looked at them, but then laughed. "Well, I do. But the Kailan's message showed that this one, Spring, was first. It was on the top, and I totally missed it."

"Well you have it now! Go back to the Kailan and tell him about your adventure. I'm sure there will be some reward for such a quick, thorough job!"

Weebie grinned, and hoped that no others had gotten through the Refuge already.

She made her way back, and was full of energy when she found the old Kailan resting. Of course, he didn't rest for very long, with her yammering at him about having found everything -- having sore feet, having not had a bite to eat all day, having --

"Have a seat," Axarr interrupted, "we can hear you from the hill. Four-Star and Tuz are almost done with the ship. Are you going to come along, or what?"

Dread filled Weebie's heart. "Leave here?" She whispered. "I can't leave, I just found all the seals!" Tears brimmed in her eyes, and she looked at the old Kailan. He had big wrinkles in his wings, and looked like he'd seen his share of fighting and strife. She wanted so much to stay, and be comforted by him, or by an egg, or by ... ANYTHING...

Story to be continued, if the Kailan wishes to give an egg to her!

After a short time, the Kailan came back, but it seemed that his wings drooped a bit, and he was sorrowful. **I am sorry, someone else beat you to it.**

Weebie's eyes burst forth with the tears that she had held back before. "But... but... I worked so hard..." she blubbered. Her friends tried to comfort her, but they also were looking toward their ship.

**There is another route,** the Kailan said, and Weebie perked up again. **There are always eggs ready to hatch. Perhaps you could see about one of those. Your devotion to this cause is admirable. You should not go away empty in hand and heart.** He paused, and to the others half-privately he added *and I can't bear any more of that sobbing...*

So he led them back to a lair, and there was a blue, shining egg. Woodstock breathed, "A girl," and the others shushed her. Weebie approached the egg.

"Well, every egg is in need of a good home," she said. "So I will take you -- you're well worth the trouble I've been through! And we'll be the best team ... or family... that this realm has ever seen!"

Woodstock nudged Axarr and whispered, "family issues?" And Axarr nodded deeply. The four-armed Woodstock took a longer look at Madness and grunted, "you're the only one of us without a Bishen, now. Get with the program."

Huffing, Axarr stomped off to the ship, while Weebie cuddled the egg. "I wonder what you'll have inside... What gift you'll get when you grow up?" She purred to the egg, her tears were finally dry and Weebie snuck away to find a good place to stay for the duration. Her friends, and their long journey home, would have to wait one more season.

Weebie waited for the beautiful egg to hatch. She kept it clean, and warm. She moved it into and out of the sun, for several days, while it matured.

The rest of her friends were not-quite-frantic.

"Weebie, you're going to ..." Axarr groaned. "We have the ship ready. Can't you just manage to relinquish your stranglehold on the egg long enough to come along? The planet will be here!"

"But this egg is for me, and whatever comes from it is my --" Weebie took in a shaking half-sob, "it's my little egg!" She hid behind it, like a frightened child. With her huge mop of fluffy hair and her big eyes, and her furry ears, she looked a lot like a scared girl. Even Axarr softened a bit at that.

"Well, since the others are comfortable too..." Axarr sighed. Weebie hugged the egg in happiness.

In the shade of a large willow tree, Weebie watched her blue egg. It wavered, wobbled, and then started moving.

Seriously moving! The sides bulged and she heard noises from inside it. Her eyes bugged out, and she grinned, screeching, "it's hatching! It's hatching!"

When a few others around, and some adult Bishen as well, started to take note, she settled down a bit. But her excitement was nothing, when the glossy blue snout came from the egg!

"Ah! Lookit! It's blue!" She squealed. Then, oddly, another blue snout came out!

Hungry!
You're hungry? I'm hungry too and I was hungry first!
You just think that because you got out of the egg first you'd get fed first? Get real!

"Now-- now, girls!" Weebie gasped, as the two Wyrms squirmed their way out of their crumbled shell, "there will be enough to go around." She looked at them somewhat sternly, after all, she *was* an Admiral. But that gaze melted when the big black eyes of the pair bored into her.

But we're hungry now and we've waited in the egg for so long! Feed us!

"I will, I will! And then you can meet my friends, and we'll all have a great time together!" She glanced over her shoulder, and saw Axarr who was moping around again, looking at empty shells... "Even Axarr will have a good time with you two!"

Dormo! Dulcet!

"I didn't know you guys loved the water so much," Weebie laughed, "my fur gets all matted when I swim!"

But we've got swimmin' skin! said Dormo.
Speak for yourself! Said Dulcet, who rested near but not in the little stream. I like watching the water. Can you get that shiny pebble for me?
Get it yourself! Dormo splashed away.

Well, thought Weebie, they're certainly growing their own strong personalities. Dormo is so tough, loud... And Dulcet is eager but careful.

Weebie looked at the ship on its hill. Would they ever leave?

What are you looking at, Weebie? Asked Dulcet.

"I'm just thinking. Our ship will be more than big enough for you if you want to come with..."

But where would we be going? And we can't leave until the Kailan tells us it's okay!
And we can't leave until Axarr bonds an egg.

That last comment from Dormo threw Weebie a bit. "Y-yes, I think she's going to some day. But I don't know if it'll be real soon. I just want us to have a good time growing up here. This place is so peaceful."

Dormo wiggled herself out from the water and onto a stone, where she then somehow lept back into the stream, dousing her sister and Weebie with chilly water!

NEXT: Shantel!

The third Shantel at the Bishen realm was about to start, and the twins were absolutely giggly. Of course, so was their mistress Weebie.

"Stop splashing about, it's time, isn't it?" Weebie asked, and then looked up. The Kailan had flown down from his usual area and onto the ledge where he often supervised the Shantel.

The twins slid along and near the others of the strange wild clutch that had hatched several months before. They were all adults, but now they were to be awarded their special powers.

Dormo was excited, as was her typical way. While Dulcet remained more sedate she was still looking around at the other Shrapes and eagerly trying to greet them.

When the Kailan finally got settled on his boulder, and glanced over the shrapes, he announced that they were to be getting their breath weapons, and become Bishen.

He first addressed the beautiful moonstone-colored aquatic named Clarinet. She was definitely way classier than all the others, Dulcet decided. She was going to say something to Dormo about it, when the Kailan summoned Dormo to the front of the assembly!

He awarded her an Electric Amulet, with a stern warning that it should be used carefully. Dormo knew that it was such an honor to even get such an object, that she reverently remained quiet for all of a minute, as the assembled Bishen and their adopted keepers applauded.

This is Dormo, excitable and eager to play, loves to be moving and doing things. Her Electric Amulet is beside her, she can use it to summon lightning!

Then he summoned Dulcet to the front, and she rested patiently before him. He awarded Dulcet the Water Drop Gem. It will allow her to use the currents of the waters to her advantage. She gracefully took it, bowed, and thanked the Kailan for his wisdom and attention.

Here is Dulcet, the calm and graceful aquatic Bishen who has a Water Drop Gem. With it, she can control the currents of the rivers and water.

Some six other Bishen became full members of their clan, this day. Dormo and Dulcet slid over to Weebie, whose big eyes were tearing up with joy.

"You did so well! Both of you are so perfect I could just cry!"

You are crying, pointed out Dormo.
It's a happy kind of crying, Dormo, replied Dulcet. So she can cry this way if she wants to!

*** 2026 ***

Note that Dormo and Dulcet did actually participate in SOME kind of mating event later on, the Dragonsoul Odd Frenzy, but there is no evidence of who they might have parented, so I'm not going to bother putting this info underneath. They aren't 'deprecated' so much as 'now they are living permanently on Planet Twenty with the other Bishel' in a protected area, where the Caledrus can dock safely to visit them all.

2026 (duplicated on other bishen pages)

So much time had elapsed. But to the inhabitants of the Caledrus time was just yet another hurdle to slide under, jump over, move around, or vaporize in a cloud of particles. And each of them had done so with the gusto of newfound energy when they realized that their Bishen dragons were really more suited to a life in one place, their own place, and not tucked into a shell in outer space. They were all happier, even the grumpy ones, when they had a nice cave or their own pond, a woodland, or some sand dunes to play in. Thus the group of them - all of them - were brought to Planet Twenty. As a refuge for - and a former prison of - uplifted psionic Kin, they knew that this place was already well-defended by those Zekiran folks as well as all the powered furries living there. They'd fought off both Humans and the Incursion forces, and it was while they were fighting that last bit off that the Generals and Admirals of this original Imperium group realized... they could live here if they wanted, too.

But of course you can't keep explorers or warriors in one place too long. So it was to the surface and finding a place for them all that they went. Tuz scoped out a good spot for his own private lair, but it was 'the landing spot', because he wanted to keep closer track of his friend on their new explorations, and he doesn't live there except when they're visiting the others. This location is east of the 12 and 1 Cheetah tribe plateau, south of the Jracini and Egyptan Refuges, and pretty far west from the Zekiran mountain range and colony. Though other Kin and local creatures do live in this wide, high valley, the Bishen have carved out their own perimeter and keep it nice and tidy... Dormo and Dulcet both keep the long slow river and the few smaller lakes there in good shape.
