Tansie watched the hatching with great interest. One of the cute Sanger kids bonded a green - was he gay or what? He couldn't be, he was really sexay... Tansie shook her head. People thought she was gay sometimes, she had very little interest in boys in general other than to smack them around a little. But then the last batch of eggs exploded in no short order. Four of the prettiest hatchlings Tansie had ever seen (bringing her total to about eight or nine at that point!) lolled around their eggs before picking themselves up and looking for their bond. One of them looked right at Tansie. You will make a good sidekick, he said. "Now Silleth, I think it's the other way around. You're the little one, I'm the big one." But I will grow! Silleth insisted, and the blue-black trotted along beside his newfound friend to the feeding bowls. *** By the time that Tansie and the rest of the Ten had come back their classes would start up for local training. Tansie checked in with Dean Luger just to show off Silleth. The older man seemed to approve heartily - the steely blue black dragonet was proud and strong willed, and Tansie wasn't sure but she thought they got along really well. "You like the old man, huh?" Tansie asked, as they practiced their fighting moves. I like him - he is confident and wise. He is a good contact to have. "He's like Comissioner Gordon! Batman has an old guy with a big mustache on his team!" Tansie suddenly started laughing. "Now maybe Taaj will be like Robin, you're totally the batmobile and then some." I strongly suspect, the dragon told her with a snort, that your friend Taaj will want a slightly elevated position in the mythos - and besides, don't you want to be known as Tansie the Street Ninja? "It's too long," Tansie said, punching the air for the fiftieth time that afternoon, all part of her training. "I've got to ask someone about better names for ninja heroes..."
