Standdown (^, Cool=6, usually in emergencies only) She can take command of a group of people even if they're just randos on the street, during any given 'superheroic' emergency incident such as an earthquake or building collapse. Even if there are supposed 'leaders' nearby, if they aren't doing enough to keep people safe (in her eyes) she will literally just put them at the front of a line and send that line where it's needed no questions asked, and no if you start asking a question just one glare from her strong and focused eyes will shut you up

Run Like Heck and Toughness (2xSpeed and 10Bonk during stunts or pursuit only) Aliya can put bursts of speed into her traversal of an area, from leaping across rooftops to catch a thief, or running down (or up) 5 flights of stairs in no time. There is always a parkour-like look to her movement, even if she's just crowd weaving, but when she puts her mind to it she is a speedy arrow that homes in on her target. She can slam into a wall at full speed and just bounce away from it, jostle through a mosh pit without a hair out of place, and take falls from several stories up and just roll it off like nobody's business. This is not without its limits, and she has learned to quickly figure out whether she needs to stop or pause before endangering herself

Macho (*) While some folks puff up their muscles and look like they're trying to impress you with their bulk, she knows that bulk isn't even half the equation. She is not 'acting' tough. She is tough. When you've come from a family that, let's face it, were actual inner city thieves in two of the most dangerous parts of the world for such folks, you learn that a glance or a glare can make all the difference when being faced down by authorities or gangs. She is not in the slightest cowed even by large opponents or people with badges. That doesn't mean she doesn't respect their authority in the right cases, but if they are abusing that authority she will make it absolutely clear they have no authority over her

*Cannot Be Intimidated +3 With her Macho ability, you just cannot possibly make her flinch

Assess Risk Of Location +2 Sometimes those bricks come loose, others there's a smell of gasoline and potential explosion, maybe it's recently rained and the moss on that rooftop will cause you to slip. This is an important skill that she hopes to impart on any student that comes through her exploration classes, because she will not want to show up to a funeral if you didn't pay attention to those dangers

Instruct Anyone +2 That's important when you are teaching at - and from - a world where there are dozens of different languages, physical and biological differences, and conflict just by showing up at the same party in the same dress. She treats every kid that comes through her classes with respect first, but they have to earn it later. No 'kid gloves', she will fail kids that can't do what is needed - and that comes with a stern warning not to try doing things they cannot. It's not because she's speciesist, it's because 'those long bits of fur between your toes will not help you if they're crusted with tar please stop running across fresh asphalt...' Though she doesn't particularly study every single different species around, she has a good feel for what works or what won't, with each of them

^Handle Any Situation +3 She is cool under pressure, even aside from emergencies. Such as meeting parents who are going to argue about their kid's grades, taking heat from state authorities when someone shows up where they didn't belong, or even choosing who should be wearing that dress at that dance. She has a sensible air about her, even if she's almost always glancing around or spotting exits. It's not because she's 'nervous'

Navigate Aerially +2 Though not 'in the skies', the view of a street from the rooftop or balcony is very different than that at ground level. She can plot her course through a downtown business park usually from the highest point in it, and takes into account the local fliers or heroes, drones, and dragons alike. She is also keenly aware of observation from above, and easily tells the difference between a simple street light and a camera installation

It's For Medicinal Purposes Only +2 There is that aspect of her parentage that is rather in-keeping with the stereotypes. Her dad was definitely apt to imbibe, and she often enjoys down time with other folks that party a bit harder than typical. She does tend to have a scent of 'whatever that new bud is', but she brushes it off and would absolutely never take this to school with her, it's strictly after-hours! That said she is a bit of a connoisseur of such things, from wines and beers to buds and nugs. She does enjoy spending time with some of the foodies and alchemists, too...
