Powers	Magician - Whether you call her a witch or a mage is irrelevant to her, she 'does magic hee hee' and isn't afraid to show off that fact. Mags is from a long line of magically enabled people, some of the earliest settlers to the Wonder township in the hills in fact. Though she's ... not 'bright' exactly, she is definitely capable of an incredible amount of wand-waving, spellbook-flipping, salt-line making magic. Her spell book is actually rather extensive, but there's a reason for that: she'll learn a spell, master it, and maybe cast it once after that if it can't be applied to her everyday 'fun' uses. She can read various magical scripts and that seems to be an innate power, rather than a learned skill, and is able to effectively translate as she re-writes those arcane letters into a more readable modern script. Her lifetime of and family's assistance in learning magic gives her a ^Freebie Cluster for all forms of magic use. Also she does have a wand which is made of white Poplar and its hilt is wrapped with finely-woven mane and tail hairs of a Unicorn; she used to swipe her uncle's ebony and basilisk skin wand, an entirely different magical experience... -- Colorful Magic, a lot of her spells involve splashes of color, light, dazzling fireworks, or changes to pigments around her on cloth or people. These are all very quick, lasting perhaps a few hours, so don't worry, your friend who is now green will be their normal fur color before you get home from the show. She provides an endless stream of... well sometimes endless streamers, covering a rave with fun edible glitter bits that magically pop on your tongue, anything that delights and attracts attention while fitting in with the theme of whatever is going on is her domain -- Functional Spells, cleaning up after a big event, or needing to get on the roof to grab that frizbee, lifting a heavy weight, she can actually do it all, with a splended ease. She can incorporate spellcasting motions into 'combing your hair like this' to get it untangled or soothe muscles with much more than a gentle touch - adding magic to everyday things is something her mother does too, keeping an immaculate home ... until Mags came along -- Combat Magic? Why not, we can spar a little! Though she's not really wanting to 'fight' people, she does love pairing up and throwing little zappy bits and tripping up opponents, she's good with quick and dirty hand motion based spells and can also cast such things while she's not able to speak -- Ritualized Warding, she works carefully and slowly while remaking any glyph that must be written a particular way, with her tongue stuck in the corner of her mouth, and intense concentration. She's summoned demons and banished them again, caused entire buildings to vanish, and opened portals to other dimensions in this way. Do not try to watch her do these things, that's a stumbling block that oddly has prevented her from really getting exceptional grades in her magic classes. Unobserved, or unprompted, spells that require interaction and concentration need to be on her terms. Obviously her ability exists, but you have to just let her go behind the curtain and she'll get it done... Familiar - Schoochie is a small red and white dragon-like creature, in scale above. Thing is, contrary to her assertions or any given appearance, this dragonet is not smarter than she is. He is definitely intelligent, but apparently his main purpose is to stop her from doing absolutely batshit crazy things. Let's just say that he was given to her at the age of 3 by her parents to make sure of exactly that protection. And make no mistake: this isn't protecting her she doesn't need protecting. Everything else does. Male, effectively will live as long as she does, with 'small dragon' vibes akin to Lians, though a bit smaller than them which is saying a bit... Can telepathically speak to her but also other dragon-forms, and can make extremely clear chittering to get his point across to anyone who can't hear his mind. Can breathe a minty-fresh ice blast about 2 meters, teleport, and is telekinetically able to 'fly' without wings. Those long spines on his shoulders are more like antennae than wing spars
Clusters 21	^Magic Use +6 (3) As above, she's a lifelong magic user, whether it's toddling around the house as a 3 year old blurting out words that she somehow 'read' (and needing to be taught right then and there not to do that). The fact that she's naturally good at all of it overall means she has been able to dedicate more time to varied activities that use this magic, rather than just sitting in a library memorizing dull page after page. She does have to occasionally refresh her memory of individual moves or fiddly wards, but she does have cheat sheets in addition to her phone-book sized spellbook Artist Of The Stage +4 With the attention span she has, and the interests in seeing all the things in quick succession, it's no wonder that Mags is a very capable stage performer. Though she has only minor talent with musical instruments, she can provide a great backup voice, a center-stage dancer, and is also just - so - able with the show. Pyrotechnics, colors and lights, she can do it all herself, you know! But she's also gotten used to helping out with assembling the sound system, assigning a set list, and even arranging venues so she can make sure of how many people will be at any show. She attracts and keeps attention on herself when anything goes wrong be it the sound, lighting, or personal issues so that other people can attend to those issues without interruption by stunned party-goers
Skills 20	Dumpster Dive +4 Do you need something right now, we just got to the venue and we don't have time to head back home, oh wait look there's a sparkly wig sticking out of that bin? It fits! Yes now it's all clean don't worry! Mags can assemble an entire group's worth of costumes and props if she knows what they need, and have just enough time to pull stuff out of bins. She can reassemble them albeit temporarily, and definitely clean the weird smell and goop off of things that otherwise would be discarded, you don't have to keep them, but they sure will come in handy for this one show! Impromptu Freeform Show +3 She'll take requests from the audience, listen for 'oh I hope they play' or 'no one knows that song I'm sure of it they'll never use it' and make sure that everyone knows it after tonight! A little wave of the wand, a little searching through a reference catalog, she'll have a copy of that disk in the hands of the DJ, or a lyric sheet on the teleprompt before the sound check has finished Fashionable Flair +3 Will dress in mostly white, but that's because all of the colors that can be applied to it! Has a very good sense of decorum when the needs are more formal or somber, however, and will help outfit people needing the right gear for next week's wedding party or that one board meeting. While she does tend to concentrate her energies on splashy flashy show outfits, she can definitely boost the business attire and beachwear alike
Knacks 4	Takes Suggestions +3 Not just requests in a busy night's show, when Mags has got it in her head to do 'something', she'll either go and do it immediately, or tell Schoochie she's going to do it first. When the dragonet has a moment to process this idea, he will pass it along to others, if he thinks there is an issue. While they haven't always been able to stop her from doing stupid shit, she does learn from having done stupid shit, not to do that again! 'How 'bout we don't' is a phrase she's heard plenty of times, and she pauses before pressing that big red button labeled Do Not Press... Limited Time Enchantment -3 She cannot for the life of her form a lasting, permanent enchantment. Maybe the magic is listening to her inner voice, which is incredibly distracted and hardly pays attention to the world around her longer than the length of a stage show. She can apply them, and they will work long enough to get a grade, but any item that has been enhanted will no longer show up as magic and not function as such after about a week. She knows this, but she's okay with it - let other people do that work, right? On the other hand, she has actively used this to find where someone's stolen gear got to, trapping a thief as they tried to get yet another guitar from backstage and finding that it wasn't really a guitar at all, it was a prop with a tracking device!

Siblings?	While it would make so much more sense that Magdelena was an only child, she does in fact have a younger sister. The presence of a toddler who could inherently read magic out loud and a newborn who appears to have her own whole basket of magic weirdness, also prodded the folks to get that dragonet familiar for her...
