Halmoni, Draconic Sports and Genetics

Name Halmoni
Age Unknown, possibly in 30s but it's hard to say how old he was when he came to Carramba in the first place, he has definitely matured since his arrival and carries himself with a strong self-confidence that says he's not a 'teenager' any more

Powers

Magic Sustenance - as Daemons do, he can 'eat' magic, surviving on it when needed, or even when required. He can use this on the field if any young dragonet's powers begin to fire off unexpectedly, effectively nullifying it

Descendant Genetic Alteration - can tweak his own passed DNA in embryonic / egg form, selecting for specific traits or modifying them. This is certainly going to come up as it was something that other genetic engineers on campus do (Melissa, didn't know you had so much in common with a dragon)

Clusters Pattern Recognition +5 Daemon brains work just a little differently than many and Halmoni's ability to figure out any given pattern, code, or system is truly astonishing. With this he has mastered genetic reading, as well as quite a few other very useful skills such as computer programming and code, and uses this daily for not just the genetic engineering courses but for his team sports and afterschool gaming. He tries to use every bit of this skill in his daily routine, from navigating the halls and airways, to checking students work, plotting out what he'll be having for dinner, and balancing his checkbook...
Skills

Dragon Physiology +6 inside and out, Halmoni's skill with deciding what goes and what stays genetically speaking is superb. He easily takes information such as phenotypes on photographs and translates it into an extensive chart, and the only other people who can really read it are a couple Zekiran Peridian, and those with photographic memories. It's a big chart...

Team Sports With Wings +5 It's one thing to fit twenty humanoid students onto two sportsball teams. It's another entirely to fit twenty draconic ones on theirs! But he does it, and also helps explain his choices to the team leaders - chosen for their own highly discerning team skills; he can select for bulk, brains, speed, and agility, as well as personality once the semester gets rolling, so it's easier on everyone when he pulls someone from one team to the other, or fits unusual pairings that might not have occurred to their team leads. In fact some of the superheroic instructors are waiting their own turn with him to look over their group rosters O_O

Understands Languages Including Code +4 If there is a pattern he's on it, right? So there's a lot of patterns to language including written code, very good with puzzles and chat or text speaking, and when Charybdis needs help with grading her Advanced Technical Languages papers he's absolutely on it

Law and Order +2 With his abilities and chosen subject matter, he does have to be up on local custom, laws, and applicable restrictions. Not to say that he always obeys these. But when his examples included Shy and Darkhanis Paveh it's a little difficult to avoid blurring the lines now and then. He can clearly discern when this is appropriate, however, and knows when he has backup in the form of those other professors

Knacks

Loud Enough To Be Heard +3 up in the air above Crescent City during flight exersizes or when there's a big cheering crowd on the field, he can still manage to get his instructions out to the right ears even without telepathic communication

Do You Need Help With That Project? +3 if it involves organizing, code, puzzles, or instruction lists, Halmoni will be there to tick boxes and double check details. He is of most use for some of the programming finals, and enjoys helping out with grades for other professors if he has time, as long as he knows what he's looking for, grading is a breeze!

Just The Right Features +3 He almost always has them, at least according to Mel and Darkhanis and whoever else. With astonishingly flexible DNA he has helped their classes as well as his own by donating his genes - with extremely specific restrictions such as 'they do not fully mature' and 'cannot be subsequently respliced after x number of days'. When he does want offspring he'll be sure and let you know, but anything coming from his blood or genes will be time-sensitive and built for the exact needs of the subject matter

Dragon Features

Gender: Male, he/him
Size/Shoulder/Length: small 7' shoulder
Colors: body steel blue-grey; belly armor medium cool grey with golden yellow insets; fluff on neck and tail black; horns very black; wings, tail and neck crest pale mottled steel blue-grey (bluer than belly) with darker blue-grey primaries and graphite on backs, all with sunny yellow tips; pawpads pale grey, claws grey, eyes golden yellow
Features: Bonder Daemon with 6 limbs, four pawed feet with retractable claws, two feathered wings capable of flight; viper-triangular shaped head with beak-like lips, cat-like slit pupiled eyes, back pointing horns; neck and head have fur and tall crest feathers; body has armor from chin to mid-tail segmented; tail is long and high with large feather rudder and floof
Powers: Winged Flight, as a flier Halmoni is superb. He is strong and good with virtually any level of wind conditions from completely-still air to gale-force winds, and seemingly has no limit to his endurance. He isn't all that large of a dragon so he doesn't tend to carry a lot of weight but certainly could do so, and definitely can grasp things in his forepaws to lift them with other bigger dragons aiding for very large items; he is energetic and agile in the air, thus his position as a dragon flight and physical education instructor
Magical Sustenance, consumes energy from magical sources, which can be specific or broadly 'in the world', to sustain himself; he can use this not quite weaponized, but certainly as a specifically targeted thing, in class settings to keep the stray and accidental magic use to a minimum
Genetic Alteration (Own cell/offspring only), can pick and choose traits as described above

Original Description on sponsorship page:

An unbelievably athletic Beast type 6-limbed draconic Artisan Daemon named Halmoni has come from Avengaea . He's a very personable, if a bit blustery and moody, daemon! His coloration is stormy dark, but his skills are brilliant. Everyone knows that he will eventually begin working on genetic projects. It's just a matter of time before they realize he's already begun...

His class schedule was:

1st Period Martial Arts for Non-Humans with Saiintenella (what fun!)
2nd Period Genetic Engineering with Paveh (essential!)
3rd Period Betting and Odds with Haital (useful!)
4th Period Zekiran Culture with Paveh (it's so nice to be accepted as a person, even when you're a beast)
LUNCHTIME!!!
5th Period Universal History with Argle
6th Period Earth/Alien Lit with Leland
7th Period Mastering Flight with Treason (as though he needs to learn?)
8th Period Basics of Law with Chanay (can't get enough Zekiran influence, can he?)

.

Dragon

Name: Litreska "Lit Fuse" Filideuzscem
Gender: Female
Size/Shoulder/Length: varies*, tends to be around 30' long when perched on a rooftop but can become house-cat sized on up to full-ass Kaiju stomping around in the waters or through fake cityscapes... those size changes last only about 2 hours, not coincidentally the amount of time a Carramba class goes...
Colors: body silvery-grey, with wing feathers in pale metallic pink, blue, and vibrant yellow, echoed in the tail plumes, red eyes, dark claws
Features: feathered biped, has strong back legs (not seen) with clawed taloned feet, and two feather wing forearms; body has a compact shape but a long and very flexible tail, a vulture-like bent neck with 'hunch', and a lot of floof on upper body; head is bird-like with large external ears and a strong hooked beak; added tail peacock fringe
Powers: Winged Flight - forelimbs are large wings suitable for both swift flight and over-ocean gliding and soaring. She does enjoy just flying over the whole area, but who even knows whether she's also then picking and choosing places she'll accidentally poop on. Big ol seagull attitude there...
Teleportation - able to move between spaces in a very brief time, though her range is somewhat limited on-world (to about 2 miles at most, to known places only, or to line of sight open spots) she can also bend reality just a little bit and travel through the Nexus with ease to anywhere that any of her draconic line have inhabited - recent or ancient, and they have roosted in a lot of places indeed
Telepathy - her screeching call and vocalizations like fingernails on a chalkboard are distinctly echoed in her mental voice, no less abrasive and no less loud. Halmoni stands it with ease but no one else likes to hear her talk for very long. Good thing she rarely communicates outside of a few commands or to indicate she's starting their field practice
Destruction Powers - since her sire is technically speaking capable of 'eating worlds' and her sponsor here is also capable of 'consuming magic' she runs a fine line between those things. If she ever gets it into her head that she should eat more than the cast-off unrecyclable stuff sitting around after a blaseball game, Halmoni puts a damper on this right quick. She doesn't really resent it, though sometimes she has snuck in a snack before he notices... you didn't really need that 'new car' did you?
Size Shifting - as above, can reduce or enlarge her shape to be a vast array - not just from about 2' long to 400' tall, but with practice could go much smaller or larger. The amount of time she could spend at molecular level or as a Galactus-sized planet cruncher is definitely up for debate, "long enough to cause an awful lot of damage" though in one case at least

Other Info: You'd imagine that a chaotic beast might be a bit dangerous to have at a high school but maybe you haven't seen our staff or student body recently. There are still some folks who don't quite understand how varied the campus and students really can be, and a few who for whatever reason have taken it upon themselves to 'try and stop that stuff from spreading'. That stuff, meaning 'offworld students' or even just 'furries on our side of the planet'. To the students that are endangered by those people, Lit Fuse is a savior, because she can either scare off or intimidate virtually any protester or assailant just by showing up. That sound she makes when she teleports can also be screamed from her beak, at 100dB, focused into a narrow cone as to not destroy anyone else's hearing. This is her territory, regardless of who else is protecting the school, she is reliably right there to stop anyone from harrassing the students and staff.

She is also of tremendous use when the Superheroics class needs to practice their 'giant robot rampage procedures', and while she's no robot (they have half a dozen robots, who are we kidding) she certainly can make an entrance on the field. She hardly takes any damage anyway, given the mitigation process they have for these classes, but can safely shrug off quite a bit of flame, shock, freezing, or even weapons before class is over. Generally speaking those large-scale events are attended by local 'named' heroes (and some villains more than likely) as well as used as spectator events, training the next generation of heroes to use their powers as a team or against what looks like dramatically one-sided fights. She doesn't do this more than once a month, and only during finals week would there be a lot more than just the 30-40 students involved. But then with more 'popcorn' ... um, students, on the field, she's often joined by other 'monster' types. The field is both created and unmade magically by a few of the professors who also happen to be gods. No one needs to worry about fixing real buildings, they're all just props!
