Powers *InstaSkill - allot 3 points into any skill, knack or cluster - temporarily, one per session - as needed; requires no kudos for skill below
Genrehopping - can move from one dimension or universe into another, even fictional universes; he has not yet figured out how to take anyone else with him, that's why he's taking courses on it. He started doing this as a very young cub, first seeing a spot in a dream, and then moving to and from it. He did realize that this was not 'home', and when he described the things he saw in these other places, his parents warned him not to talk about it to others... unfortunately it wasn't this power that got him exiled...
Monster Out - transforms into a hideous creature up to ten times normal size at inopportune moments; this one was the thing that did get noticed by the Elders. See that second picture? See that little silhouette? When he first popped into this form, it was as a toddler, and the 'monster' version was a roly poly kitten around 6 feet at the shoulder. Now, gangly and teenaged, it's considerably less 'cute' but still this is how he is sometimes. Given that his family lived in a big city, there was very little room to hide him as his 'monster' form got bigger and out of control. He was hardly 14 years old when he was exiled.
Clusters And Opportune Moments +4 - Gizi's monstrous form can be triggered if he's paying attention, and suppressed when he's indoors or would otherwise cause tremendous amounts of property or life damage. He's no fool - he was exiled from his homeworld because of this power, and no one even knows how it happened, as they're not known for such mutations in the first place. It may be a side effect of his other ability, the Genrehopping. Gizi might be a Reality Shifter with a broken adaptation (some hoppers can shapeshift into appropriate forms when they move between worlds). Also he's not hideous. He's fluffy. }:-(
Interdimensional Navigation +3 - Gizi is stunningly good at this, far from being random and haphazardly moving through the multiverse, he directs his Genrehopping and knows how to reach specific locations. He can return home any time he really wants to, but he knows that if he's spotted there things will go very badly for his family. Also some day he hopes that he'll be able to pick up his folks and siblings and bring them here where it's way more fun and tolerant of weirdness...
Skills *+3 - As Insta-Skill works, he is suddenly overtaken by 'I know this part!' and can for around an hour do whatever is needed even if it's a highly-trained or very rare skill such as 'advanced theoretical physics' or 'nuclear power plant maintenance'. He does not rely on this, and has his own comfort zones for skill sets, but if he really needs to help in an emergency this is what he uses
Quite Artistic +4 - with an eye toward color and design, he can make almost any project look good. His Ceramics class as well as his Engineering one both benefit from this in obvious ways, but also his Cartography and Composition instructors really like how he dolls up his homework. Even if it's just doodles in the margins, they always like those little pictures because they're always on-topic and well done.
Survive Without Family +2 - this does kinda suck, because he's had to learn how to do this ever since he started transforming into a big-gigantic cat thing. He knows how to find help on a planet, or in a culture, and how to avoid getting into trouble off the bat, where to find food and shelter, that kind of thing. He isn't much for outdoors and wilderness exploration, honestly, he's very urban and likes to keep it that way.
Natural Linguist +2 - it really is very likely that Gizi is actually a Reality Shifter with a few broken parts, because being able to understand languages as he reaches distant and weird realms with his Genrehopping power would normally be impossible. If he's physcially able to produce the sounds (he does have fangs, so sometimes that makes it harder to say things in certain languages) he can communicate verbally, and if it's reading that is required often enough his doodles make up for any lack of alphabets.
Knacks Grooming +3 - he knows that some folks are allergic to cats. They're also allergic to being stepped on by a gigantic feline monster, so there's that... What mess he gets into as a big version does carry into small, but generally mud or clutter will crumble and turn to dust - helped along by DustBath that is... So all he really needs to do is make sure that he isn't tracking in twigs and grime; he doesn't smell weird, though people have claimed that his big form has a distinct cat-smell, but a lot of people really, really like that...

Pets None, but a dragon can keep up with him!
Parents? At home on Zhmrrel, slightly worried that their son is in danger, but without the means to follow him in his exile; they seem to appreciate his occasional popping in when he can 'hop back, but he never stays for long, it's too risky
Siblings? 2 sisters, 1 brother, at home on Zhmrrel, but who knows - maybe they have weird powers too... he doesn't want them to be exiled like he is, but he also doesn't want to never see them again

(Actual size comparison!)

Gizi was born a normal Zhmrrel kit, but rather quickly it was obvious that something was very different about him. Some elders believe that the contact that the planet has had with the 'weird otherworldly creatures' (that is: dragons, hoppers, other races and cultures) has caused this. But equally likely is that Zhmrrel itself is a nexus and source of these odd happenings just as much as any. His history teacher Miss Prescott asserts this frequently enough, because she isn't even from Twoarth herself. Though his Genrehopping ability appeared first, and his parents were worried that this would cause trouble, it wasn't until he actually showed up stuffed into his room snugly as a massive four legged creature, that they knew it would only be a matter of time. They could only keep him hidden for so long, and by the time his younger brother was born he hardly fit into their back yard let alone walk down a street (when no one was there). They pleaded with the elders, to let him stay on and maybe patrol the territory, but it was not to be. They claimed he wanted contact with other places? Fine, he can stay there. Heartbroken but worried for their own safety, Gizi's parents loaded him up with whatever they could afford, and sent him on his way.

Since he can move between realities, spotting exactly the right time and location somehow, they arrange for secret meet-ups in the woodland outside their city, now and again. And eventually they'll get to meet his dragon friend, if and when he finally masters the ability to move others with him. If he could just get them on the back of the dragon, or himself... He practices quite a bit under the tutelage of Mr Lane, who clearly enjoys Gizi's company and seems to truly understand his situation. Lane would do more, but he seems hesitant, probably wanting Gizi to learn to do things for himself, rather than be magically-hand-waved into it.

Gizi had visited Carramba's location several times when he was quite young, he was interested in the fun colors and variety of people he saw there as a toddler in dreams and occasional half-waking wanderings. He knew that this would be the right location to live: it is modern, with the large buildings and vehicles and culture that typifies a tolerant society. The folks here know how hard it is to lose access to his family, and given that Carramba itself is the Nexus spot in this area, afforded him the student housing and temporary stipend for expenses that all off-world kids got. When he graduates, he will have to fend for himself, but according to the councelors he won't have much difficulty finding something to do to keep himself housed and busy. With a dragon friend, that is almost infinitely easier.

Currently, while he's not a strictly-straight-A student (or in this case, a Straight-S since they use a FPDES system), no one faults him for that. He's had to learn not only the languages but the culture and history of a completely foreign world, in the interest of fitting in here permanently. Gizi knows that though he's got this weird power to change into a massive 'monster', there's a place for that here on Twoarth, and not only are there furries like himself normally, there's so much more going on. Sometimes it's a bit overwhelming, in fact. But he does know how to find a nice quiet spot and relax, he enjoys the mountains nearby rather than the beach, but Dust Bath is able to keep up with both of those spots easily too.

Though they aren't taking any specific classes to address draconic issues, Gizi and Dust Bath do make a great team. Dust Bath is among the younger dragons that have shown up recently, but he isn't technically attending Carramba as a student. He's come with his own skills and history, which Gizi is interested in learning about on Pyrrha. Though that said... he's a cat person, not a human, and the 'scavengers' on that world are definitely furless. What will Gizi and Dust Bath get up to when school is finally out for the cat? Possibly desert rescues or even selling art they've made, the pottery that Gizi's produced is of high enough quality that Ainea has suggested he make a go of it as a 'tourist trap', there's an art commune in the area that could certainly use a new eye on things, and the novelty of 'it's also by a cat made from dust collected by a dragon!' is clear.

Dragon

Name: Dust Bath
Gender: Male
Size/Shoulder/Length: medium 9'8" s / 42' l / 84' ws
Colors: face, neck, body, limbs and wing arms, tail all yellowish tan; armor plating is golden tan, two-tone medium brown, and marked those two colors along his neck, limbs, back, and tail; wingsails and dorsal fin pale buff beige with very pale off-white spots on sails; horns and claws medium graphite; eyes bright cyan-tinted green
Features: Sandwing purebred, a bit on the small size for them, no outstanding features or changes
Powers: Winged Flight, Dusty is confident and quick to fly, he can leap into the air and be flying with one big push and doesn't need a running start or even a particular updraft. He can stay aloft for hours on end if the weather is warm, though he doesn't do this much if it's cool or rainy. He isn't remarkably fast from point a to point b, but he'll get you there in a good clip and avoids hitting things along the way. He does like flying in open sky rather than in the urban city, but with some practice around the trees and temporary training structures in the school's dragonry section he's learning how to avoid power lines and aerials, along with building outcrops or other features found in a modern Human-centric world.
Communication, Dusty has the ability to speak fluent English as well as Draconic, and is learning some bits of Zhmrrel though with his friend Gizi not residing on his homeworld that's more of a wistful, wishful-thinking 'someday we'll use it' practice. He seems smart, but doesn't bother with big words unless he has to convey some kind of technical information, which he does without hesitation.
Dust Control, not so much a fire-breather, than a dirt demon, Dust Bath lives up to his name, and claims that there's a Mudwing in his line somewhere because he can alter the qualities of nearby soil, stony dirt, sand, and the like. Though he cannot shape stone, nothing over the size of a human fist, he can manipulate nearby earth and sand. Often he'll collect it with great sweeps of his wings, into a big dust devil, that then collapses into a sedate pile of fine sand, mica, or gravel. He and Gizi will definitely be able to sell items made from these things, as he's gaining confidence in separating certain kinds of dirt from sand, they can make glass or dyes out of bits, and refine the silty mud or adobe for bricks and pottery.
Fire breath? He can also 'heat up' the area, but no real fire comes out of Dust Bath. He can act as a mobile kiln, holding his wings into a tent and breathing hot air into them, so if he's sitting with a weird curve to his wings by his sides, don't interrupt, and don't try looking under his wing sails, because it's blistering hot there! You can see the patches where he's done this if he is standing up, but the ground doesn't seem to remain too-hot for long, and he's careful to do this where it's safe and won't start fires.
Parentage: Unknown Sandwings, though ostensibly pure he definitely has Mudwing style powers, so...

Other Info: he knows that he's not even half the size of his friend when said friend is monstered out, but that's half the fun! Besides: Gizi can't fly! haha!
