Winged Flight, while her wings are quite short, she can actively fly with them though in general it's best during warm, windy weather. She can't lift more than her own weight but can glide for short periods carrying a small student or packs. Her short wings allow her to balance and sprint, dodging uncannily fast and keeping her stable in conditions that knock over others

Imitate Voices and Sounds, Channing is easily able to produce some highly unusual (and sometimes disturbing) noises in addition to chatting in English, French, Italian, and Spanish. She remembers names and voice intonation unerringly for several years (long enough to know when each of her students has graduated, in fact). Never needing a whistle or clicker to make sound loud enough for rowdy students to hear, she produces her own during practice and competitions!

Terrifying Peryton Traits, while she is definitely a good person and has never actively harmed anyone, she is still of a 'mythical' line that is known to eat human hearts and lay eggs of metal... Her shadow is that of a human - no wings, tail, or antlers visible - but that just means she's 'never eaten a human heart!' (said with as much glee as yay we won the match!). Her scent can range from 'just a normal person smell' to 'rotting meat' to 'the smell of brass or copper or maybe blood I don't know'. And though she doesn't want to eat or damage anyone really, she can and has accidentally terrified the shit out of opposing team members or the rare case of defending a scared student from their abusive parent...

Clusters If It's Icy It's Time To Play! +5 Chipper knows all about all the sports you could possibly play when it's cold out there. Or, when it's too cold and you need to be indoors but still get a good workout! Each race type, game plan, scoring and rules system, team composition, everything needed to play one on one or team based sport, she's like a frosty, furry encyclopedia. She doesn't necessarily enforce all the rules all the time - she enjoys a good fun game, she's not a rules-lawyer, but when those rules are broken she will make it known that they were, do better next time, or let's play something where that rule doesn't apply
Skills

Team-Based Instructing and Coaching +3 Loves being in and on teams, as much as helping to form them, and as such knows the value of producing a good environment for teams to form naturally without leaving anyone behind. Though she knows that some folks really shine on their own and feel either constrained or overshadowed in a group, teamwork for her students is always going to feel pretty good rather than a chore

Take Care Of Gear +3 You can only get on the slopes or the ice when your boots fit right, when your helmet is snug, and when you've passed the muster of judges. She loves having the right fit, and has instilled in her students the same pride and awareness of the gear they need to use. If you lose a derby race because your wheel fell off, whose fault is that? Gotta keep up on those things, even a loose shoulderpad lacing might make or break a trip to the hospital...

Preens and Shines +2 Her snowy, glittery white fur and softly gleaming feathers, even her shiny metallic chocolate and brass scales are all kept that way with meticulous grooming tactics, and she will help any student with knots in their hair, mats in their fur, rumpled feathers, or a little bit of skin shedding, to maintain their look and health. She knows all the local groomers and suppliers, after all! And since most of her classes require some kind of protective gear being worn, making sure you don't look like you just fell out of a locker in your next class... that's important to kids, and to her as well
Knacks Hang With All The Breeds +2 While she is a mythic, birds and deer are pretty normal right? She will admit that having nothing but Skinsiders around is a little weird, but it's rare indeed that an entire class or meeting will be 'just' Humans. That's not to say that she doesn't make everyone just a tiny-tiny bit anxious, because she definitely does, she just tries to keep that feeling as excitement and engagement rather than fear or suspicion

Though sweet, chatty, adorable, and 'chipper' in a word, Chipper is remarkably competitive and loves team sports as much as individual competition. She recognizes individual abilities and strengths, and shores up weaknesses by placing people in the right groups and teams, or focus-training to improve those things before a match or game.

Channing comes from a long line of sports-loving folks, and she's a long way from her Canadian home down here in Southern California. But with the godlings and super-powered folks at the school able to make snow or ski slopes at will, she feels right at home!
