The final tally of 'leadership roles' for the Cloned Spectrum kids!

Indigo is still looked on as the overall leader of the entire Spectrum. However, she feels rather relieved to have Turquoise there as a more direct reminder of where her generation came from to begin with. Since 'her' sire is not technically the same as his, she's still been a bit leery of this 'other' Lane, but in effect they have the same powers and focus. Given time, she quite likes him. Onyx and Opal are... not the best of friends, but they will do what they can to aid their people.

Opal does clearly fit pretty well in with Scarlet and Sulfur, but since they're continued to be tempered by the more happy - and nice - children of Melissa Larrabie, the disdainful high-powered crowd will never dominate the normals. Amber, Gold and their slightly snooty sister Dahlia all respond to their mother's wishes, though Dahlia grudgingly. Amber and Dahlia also cross over into the Medical field. Carnelian and Vermilion seem to be very much flipsides of 'helpful aides'. Carnelian because he does the orgnizing that others don't bother with, and Vermilion because he is able to keep up with the needs of anyone demanding information.

While it might seem odd to put Lilac in there (as she was quite demure and unassuming when first introduced, and certainly didn't have a 'lead' role in any way) she actually is the one that ties the original 15 together with the rest. Her successful planting of ideas in GLaDOS's head about breeding, adding new blood, and new powers to the mix was received very well indeed. She still doesn't consider herself a go-getting up front type, but she is the central part of the future generations of life on their world. She oversees activities and education, as overlapped with several others. A number of these also qualify in 'tech' and 'medical' fields, not just this one.
