Powers |
^Linguist - any Human or near-human language can be learned by you in less than a year fluently
M4d 5ki11z - they're so 1337 it hurts to look at them; any and all electrically (or ?) powered technology and particularly computers are their domain with ^+3 High-Tech Cluster
From A Long Line Of - that White Glove Society in New Vegas certainly does have both perks and unusual downsides dunnit? With the arrival of Aretha and clearing out most of the very negative folk among them, Emory was raised in the Ultra-Luxe casino and hotel and has a permanent residence there as well as a set of extremely nice knives and cookware that most certainly have been completely cleaned from any... untoward meats that they might have had in or on them in the past... |

^High-Tech Skillz +5(3) It's just natural, they know how to type, read and write code, repair computer-based technology and things electric, even robotics and perhaps some cyborg technology (hm... meat and electronics! perfect!); can design and build piecemeal and functional workstations, and can cludge together disparate dimensions worth of parts - those microchips from Twoarth and the vacuum tube tech of Vault Earth are normally incompatible but he makes them function like a dream!
Does Love Food +4 When you grow up in a restaurant surrounded by very fine customers and expectations, you adopt those expectations; has a very refined and sensitive palate and can recognize spices, ingredient lists, and what might pair best with any given main course |
Skills 18 |
Culinary +5(1)^ Uses pots and pans, knives and ovens, sauces and knives, forks and knives... very well indeed, and can put together extremely tasty and nutritious foods with very little prep time or resources
^Understand Any Basic Humanoid Language +4(3) not complicated speech but the essences, instantly on observation, and aids in longer term language and communication skills. This has come in handy when on the odd day in New Vegas, someone brought their Mirelurk King into the restaurant... At first expecting it to either kill everything, or be boiled like a lobster, Emory immediately knew that this was a customer...
Organized As Heck +4 Will write down or type out shorthand instructions to themselves for both quick reference and long term use, they're the type who won't write an entire vacation essay to convey a recipe, they'll just get to the point and tell you what you need, how much time it'll take, how many it will serve, and how to store the leftovers. That said they can also write that vacation essay with it, though their memory isn't flawless like some, it's very well organized and since they do this notation pretty much constantly, it's almost like they will never forget where they found that special herb or who gave them their first five-star review. Their handwriting is blocky and easy to read if they're conveying instructions, but they have a fancier script than typical which is still also quite legible for menus and invitations |
Knacks 9 |
We Are Not Monsters +5 Has a soft spot for very rare meat, but would absolutely never - ever - kill and cook anything that can communicate to him. Octopus, dolphin, monkey, parrot or corvid, they will not use those things that can be recognized with body language cues as 'smart'
Keeps The Mask, Likes The Mystery +4 Emory is aloof and somewhat secretive about themselves, mainly they like how uncomfortable some people get at least at home in New Vegas, with the mask and the knowledge that their family probably ate someone in yours, decades back... Will leverage that discomfort into amazement and respect, and is only truly 'transparent' when it comes to showing that the meat on those plates is actually properly from cattle or caught fish, and not what you think... |

Other Info |
They have a collection of Computers, gathered from many different locations including their home of New Vegas, but they're super interested in how these other 'microcomputers' work? That technology doesn't even exist in their dimension! At least, not until it was introduced by Aretha from other worlds! |
