Name: Beula Enright

Gender: female, they/them, prefers men

Age/DOB: 20, born spring 2261

Origin: Vault Earth, originally from Zion Canyon, Mojave Conglomerate

Family: unknown Crazy Horns tribals

Other: resides now in the Samson Rock Crushing Plant's maintenance building, having repurposed it to her pottery and glazing needs

Height: 5'7"

Weight: skinny, lanky but with a reasonable amount of toning to her limbs, and very strong hands

Hair: blond, caramel at the roots and fading into a pale cream at the ends likely from exposure to the sun or chemicals; likes a styled and shaggy set of varied lengths, though she has longer hair than you think by looking, it's mostly in a bun behind her head to keep it out of her work

Eyes: light blue, large and expressive, some say puppy-dog eyes with those bushy eyebrows above

Appearance: if she got out more she'd burn and peel more, so she tends to be 'slightly burnt' through 'gothy white' most of the time; yes it's been suggested that out here under the sun it miiiiight be wise to wear more than she does (typically the outfit as shown, no one knows if she even has pants) but she prefers the warm air, just not the bright sun, on her skin; she can be loud, which is good because the rock crushing is still going on, and still very noisy

Genetic Abilities: It's possible that she has some form of control or innate sense regarding metals and ores, given her ability to sort through discarded materials and junk, or even just putting her hand into the ground and pulling up a wad of highly useful clay or soil; it's almost as if she can smell it, or visualize it with a glance

SPECIAL - Strength: 3 | Perception: 6 | Endurance: 3 | Charisma: 5 | Intelligence: 5 | Agility: 4 | Luck: 2

Icarus Processing: none, but Melissa is definitely on board with trying to figure out whether her ore-based knowledge is something that's innate and genetically tuned, but even if it's not, her skill with minerology and pottery should be uploaded!

Skills or Profession: a potter, adept with grabbing what she can from the environment of the southwest scrub and canyons, and creating useful fired-clay or even stone items. She's said that the clay found in her native Zion Canyon is better than that which can be used in the New Vegas area, but with the help of her new little flighty friends this is hardly a problem! Living in the wilderness she's been able to fend off attacks and knows how to handle a shotgun with remarkable ability, though she prefers not to have to use it against humans. She has a very strong ability to locate components, scrapping parts or the right metals or minerals, so her pottery actually is far more durable, and prettier, than it might be with someone who doesn't know how to get 'the right dirt' with 'the right sparkly bits' in it.
Personality: She does like seeing the glee and gratitude on people's faces when they pick up their pots and jugs, and loves praise for them. So much so that she will concentrate her efforts to make absolutely sure that someone loves it. A bit hyperfocused on her clay making, there is nothing she likes better than the feel of working wet clay on a wheel, maybe choosing the glazes, or possibly the use that those works get? Even if she seems a bit on the vain side, she is definitely all about pleasing others, and makes sure that those around her have what they need. She'll fix things if given the right tools or materials, though she's hardly the handyman, more a patch-the-wall-with-stucco sort

Dragon

Name: Barayu
Gender: Female
Size/Shoulder/Length: tiny, 2'9" long, one of the smallest of this breed to reside with a Rookery handler, though her wingspan is over 5'
Colors: Iron, a rich reddish brown body with much darker wing arms and head armor; wingsails that are mottled with rusty-reddish blotches; horns and claws white
Features: Gem dragon, skin is like a snake or lizard, it has tiny scales that protect it from tears/injury when on uneven ground, floating iron chunk 'gem'
Powers: Flight, a speedy and agile flier, though not very strong, a lot of flitters could easily accept her among their ranks, but she prefers the company of 'full' dragons and people since they are the ones who often enough are dealing with metals and gear
Telepathy, she has a high, somewhat screeching mental voice, akin to a metal on metal sound only far less annoying
Iron Magic strengthen materials, especially metals; her specialty seems to be magically attuned to it more than the underlying pure metals. As such she has a job cleaning those things up, removing what crud there is before anyone needs to use half-broken tools
Parentage: unknown, unrelated to any in the Rookery/no lineage
Origin: Lantessama Gem dragon giveaway 2023
Other Info: Barayu positively loves the rusty cars, beams and walls, tools, and everything else in the Mojave, but she is still quite small and needs someone else to lift or move them into their warehouse location before she can truly work uninterrupted

Dragon

Name: Dries
Gender: Male
Size/Shoulder/Length: tiny, 3'10" l, with a 7' wingspan, Dries is certainly a sight when he's flying around! No mere flitter, this!
Colors: Clay, an even and creamy dust colored body, with slightly darker wing arms and armor; wingsails are mottled with light and dark shades and he blends perfectly in with the dirt and sand nearby; claws and horns white
Features: Gem dragon, skin is like a snake or lizard, it has tiny scales that protect it from tears/injury when on uneven ground; clay chunk 'gem' floating nearby
Powers: Flight, he is a bold and durable flier, able to carry buckets filled with clay with his tail though not for long distances; he is not remarkably agile, but definitely gets the job done if you need something moved across the warehouse (under 30lbs though)
Telepathy, his mind is rich, thick, feels like a heavy coating of wet clay, which some people truly love (Beula is one of them!)
Clay Magic, can build and manipulate anything with clay, he tends to remain near the runoff and slightly wetter areas but can easily locate nearby clay deposits and the right type of materials for Beula to work on
Parentage: unknown, unrelated to any in the Rookery/no lineage
Origin: Lantessama Gem dragon giveaway 2023
Other Info: Earthy by nature, these dragons love to play with clay and take nature walks; Dries is apt to bask in the sun near the clay pits, blending in with such precision that sometimes he has to screech if someone's about to step on him. The clay beneath his outspread wings is often purified and almost-wet when he gets up, so Beula encourages him to do this quite often!
