Name: Alice Wade

Gender: Female, straight?

Age/DOB: indeterminate, conceived in 1982, born from surrogate in 1989, held in stasis sometime after Synchronicity and found by Wilson in 2010, released into Outlands in 2012, and 'found' as a refugee, brought to Black Mesa

Origin: Repurposed Earth, North Carolina

Family: Mother Genevieve Aristide, Father Harlan Wade, half-sister Alma Wade, spliced 'sister' Melissa Larrabie, numerous Wade-related relatives in Pantheon

Other: Though rescued from being aborted, Harlan never allowed Alice to know who her actual mother was. Ironically, Melissa only knows she herself is related to Aristide, via finally having another with Genevieve's genetics to track, in her.

Height: 5'5"

Weight: 130 at most, slender, surprisingly athletic but not toned

Hair: blond, though neither of her parents are quite that shade; straight though may be frizzy, usually as shown pulled into a bun

Eyes: Pale to medium blue, even, worried looking

Appearance: fair skinned with a straight nose and overall very pretty appearance, has a number of moles or freckles, full lips; almost always wearing grey leggings or pants, and a grey, blue, or white shirt; always has a medallion necklace as shown

Genetic Abilities: None known, though Melissa asserts she may have a bit of empathy, all the psychic potential in the Wade name comes from Alma's mother, not Harlan; she does have a reasonable amount of durability and muscularity that is echoed in Melissa, from their mother Gen.

Icarus Processing: None, Melissa claims she's not likely to benefit but that is quite obviously a lie, and Alice would refuse it anyway

Skills or Profession: Though young, Alice was well-educated and given opportunities in the biotech field thanks to her father Harlan. However, he managed to somehow keep his own job with Armacham from her for the most part, and she didn't have any direct contact with Aristide - so when she would go looking for work, he made extra certain to keep Armahcam off her list. She is smart, and has a keen eye for putting information together, which is very likely why Harlan put her into stasis, to prevent her from finding out about the rest of her family... After she was in stasis, however, and removed by Wilson and others at Black Mesa, she has served as a good logistics and research assistant for the existing techs and medical professionals on site.
Personality: She adjusted with a rocky start, but has proven to be resiliant. However, this is because she's remarkably stubborn just like Harlan, though thankfully she lacks his temper. For whatever reason, when Harlan stuck her in the stasis pod, having had to knock her unconscious somewhat roughly to do so, she lost her shoes. She's never once looked for replacements, perhaps her feet can handle much more damage than anyone gives her credit for. Maybe that's... Aristide's genes...
Events or History: Alice Wade was almost not born, on Repurposed Earth. When Harlan Wade had a very brief (and ill-advised) fling with CEO Genevieve Aristide, she begame pregnant, and was going to have an abortion - but she had made the mistake of telling him about it. He instead clamored to get her to instead merely extract the fetus, and... well, his pull within the medical side of Armacham got them to do that even when she argued. (Yes, he actually convinced them to ignore Aristide, their boss, for this...) Their child was kept in stasis until a suitable surrogate could be found among the Origin program - but once more Harlan Wade has his way, and rather than this child going into the program, he took her, newborn, home - to another state, with nannies and tutors to keep her safe. He kept his entire Armacham lifestyle hidden from her, though she definitely suspected. Living in another state, hardly ever home, Harlan and his daughter were never actually close, but she was quite happy most of her childhood. When the Synchronicity Events occurred, she began to more formally suspect that her father had something to do with it, by the way he acted. She was 17 when the Synchronicity occurred, and only 19 when Harlan decided that enough was enough and she was knocked unconscious and brought into a facility for further safe keeping. He was killed during a storm after that, and given his confessions of who her mother was, what his role had been (only vaguely mentioned), she was not told those things by anyone. Wilson Carver found her stasis pod in 2010, and handed her off to Lane for another few years. They decided quite apart from any other doings, that she should be given just a bit of brainwashing, forgetting the closeness of her father to all of this, and placed back into the City near the Enrichment Center. Disturbed by the way things had changed, she ran off, and was eventually found by the Pantheon, where, mistaking her for just another refugee, she was sent to Black Mesa like everyone else.
Only a chance meeting between her and Melissa made Mel aware of just who exactly she was, given that they are, in fact, half-sisters... Mel has not really introduced herself properly, though they've met and Alice is a bit put off by how weird she acts. Oh well, there are now dragons, and no one cares.

Dragon

Name: Brightsun
Gender: Female
Size/Shoulder/Length: Medium-Small 8'5" Shoulder / 38' l / 85' ws
Colors: underbelly from chin to tail tip, behind legs, brilliant snow-white; body along sides, limbs and wingfingers, neck, head, tail, white heavily dappled with sooty-grey, light grey, and graphite spots; wingsails and neck frill webs brightly sunlit yellow with white dappling in various transparencies; body spots and eyes bright yellow (can change); claws, horns, and dorsal scale ridge brightly white
Features: Rainwing, four legs with 5 and 4 digits bearing extremely sharp long, curved claws fit for climbing and grasping, heel claw on hind; leathery wings with 4 visible fingers, elbow strut, and very long wrist thumb with curved claw, other fingers have straighter claws; skin is scaled with even, soft armor plating on belly and along fronts of limbs, dorsal area, tail; tiny scales on rest of body entirely; face has prominent hook nose with strong teeth, short nose horn, two slender backswept horns, and jaw nubs, external ears, and behind ear webbed frill; dorsal along entire neck, body, and to tail tip short triangular ridge scales; tail is prehensile; bite is dangerously venomous
Powers: Winged Flight; far more than adequate in the air, Bright is talented at low altitude maneuverability and even indoors, though her wingspan is quite large. She has made adjustments to her flight patterns, because Alice is dreadfully afraid of being shot down and will not enter any helicopter or flying craft without someone else being there. Brightsun assures her little Human friend that all will be well, and they do patrol the skies on occasion, though Alice doesn't really relish these flights.
Camouflage, even though she's really bright, as her name suggests, Brightsun's sooty looking body can easily be mistaken for crumbling cement and cinderblock walls, which are extraordinarily common in the ruins of Cities. In this manner, she can hide in plain sight, remaining motionless until danger passes or is ready to attack. While most Rainwings have the ability to change their scale color with emotion, Brightsun has control over her wingsails and side spots only - though it is entirely under her command, and thus in full use for her camouflage power.
Verbal Speech, Bright is able to speak in Draconic and English, picking up bits of Combine as some of these imported dragons are able to do, though all she can do is parrot that static speech, and not decode it. Her voice is high, chirpy, and often enough mistaken for birdsong by those who aren't expecting a full sized dragon to be making the noise.
Venom Bite, her fangs are hollow and deliver a potent neurotoxin to biological victims. A human-sized creature will die within an hour of one bite, and she is extremely careful to not bite people - only Combine, animals, and enemies she's been shown are a threat. While it would take multiple bites, she is fully capable of taking down Striders, even Combine gunships, with this venom.
Parentage: Unknown, full blooded Rainwings; ironically though she has very similar coloration to Melissa's own Aurora, they are absolutely not related.
Origin: Adopted from Moonshimmer981 on Deviantart, Wings of Fire by Tui Sutherland
Other Info: Sneaky, clever, and thorough, Bright would love to be much more active in patrolling the City near the Rookery, but remains with Alice providing upkeep help, and the occasional critical eye for decoration. She is a popular dragoness, and enjoys the attention.
