Background: long line of wizards, often the subject of curses
Personality: nerdy, plain and simple. He's the kind of kid that would tell you about his D&D character if given the chance, but he has plenty of fun actually being involved with group activities and parties too. Adrian and his friends were brought to Lantessama, but they could tell that there were other things afoot - their local dragons weren't here in force, they were guarding the entrance to the area. They'd learned a bit here and there about the event, the eggs, the parents, and such, and then they also learned of other people... dragon people. And how they came to near-ruin! "Imagine what we'd learn from them! I've heard they were nearly wiped out once, and it might have been from a curse." His specialty! Not that he could in his wildest dreams break a curse that would have ended a civilization...

So they attended the party and mingled with these dragon shifters, pretending until they could no longer: they were humans, not shifters, not Ira'aheshty. The woman they'd met up with helped hastily diffuse whatever might have occurred with her nervous companion by hinting they should head down to the eggs. The dragon eggs!

Ambrose approached the eggs and touched one, and to his surprise the egg vibrated and then fell away showing off a lovely hatchling in teal and blue! They announced themselves as Xaetan, and from that moment the pair of them were inseperable!

Name: Daphne Mockridge

Student Gender: Female
Background: Mundane-born, family of doctors and educators
Personality: Active and politically aware, concerned about what others think about her, as well as in general. Almost always looking for the social implications behind anything, and keenly aware that her mundane birth status makes some people predisposed against her even if she could prove herself otherwise.
Cultural Background: Black British, atypical (red hair and eyes), very pretty

Attending: That School, Raven house, Domina graduate
Year/Age: 5th year, 15
Favorite Subject: Potions, Herbs
Worst Subject: History of Magic

Professional Goal: Magical Physician

Wand:
Length: long, 14.5 inch
Wood: Mistletoe (love)
Core: Unicorn blood (longevity)
Favored Spell: healing

Familiar: none

Unique: as a SPIN member, she actually does have plenty of friends in the non-human ranks. She's willing to adapt to their cultures, where as most aren't. However, she is very curious about many of those cultures and has gotten into hot water a couple times because of it- that is, until coming to Domina. Wow things are definitely not as ugly here, but there is still some amount of social injustice and she is exactly the warrior to face it down

Broomball: likes watching, but doesn't really have interest in playing it

Verbal Speech
Elemental Fire Magic
Parentage: Middle Ice Akina x Middle Electric Denuth
Origin: Lantessama 2025 Dracanian Festival
Other Info: Gadier is a shapeshifter who at his rank appears mostly human but retains the large leather wings (though how they manage to go from arms to back no one knows), and 'oh no he's hot' - literally, he's a fire element!

When their group was brought to Lantessama they prowled around and got acquiainted with the locals, and Daphne loved every moment. She could tell whether there was a clique or group that disliked another, easily. When they learned about the humanoid shapeshifting Ira'aheshty they decided to 'crash their party' and sneak around learning things on the sly. Until they couldn't hold back andy more. Well, until Daphne had learned how paranoid and justifyably scared they were of other species attacking them. She now knew that they did think of themselves as separate, human-appearing dragons, 'people', in other words. Daphne could not stand the thought of lying to them any longer than necessary.

"You know, we're not really shifters like yourselves," she said to their newest acquaintence Meryem.

"Oh of course not," she replied, "You're much too young to have started shifting."

A few of their group glanced between each other nervously. Daphne restated, "no, really, we're witches, wizards, sorcerers. We're from House Domina," how easily she'd adjusted to that change! "We just wanted to come check this party out. We're sorry for the deception."

And yes they were disappointed, the other, Ray, was nearly shaking from nerves. But they eventually calmed down by talking a walk in the evening air and wound up at the hatching sands! While it was Ambrose who bonded first, Daphne went next and was surprised by the force with which the egg she touched exploded!

All but fire inside anyway! The dragonet inside it was much larger than the first they found, but also seemed more... picky.

"Hmph, I guess you'll do," he looked at the others in their group and found them lacking somehow. "We'll fight injustice together! My name is Gadier."

** He will learn to shapeshift around this time experimenting with standing on two legs!

** story bit --

** He is quite adept at shapeshifting by this time, and ... yeah probably starting to look interesting to a fair few people as well as dragons around here!
