Dragon Name: Dirge Of Embers Gender: Male Size/Shoulder/Length: medium 9' s / 38' l / 70' ws Colors: Black; body rich charcoal with obvious scales of shiny black; belly armor and tail spade medium grey; wingsails shiny dark grey; horns and claws mist white; red eyes Features: Elessadian as shown, scaled, reptilian, and 'cursed' Powers: Winged Flight, Dirge is incredibly agile in the air, though he prefers to be able to fly in wide open spaces for best results, and is not that great with long distances or heavy lifting. He's big, but he is practiced and precise when he makes hairpin turns and loops through the tree canopy. He's right at home with falcons and smaller dragons alike in that regard Verbal Speech, Nonverbal Communication, bond connection; though they aren't necessarily able to think to one another, Volkan and Dirge make a very good team using the connection they do carry, and between speech in English, calls and bellows in draconic, and careful motion of their bodies, wings, feet, and tails, Dirge and Volkan fly together patrolling the magical Pacific Northwest territory around Domina and are able to relay anything they spot back home using magic or just like. A phone or something he doesn't know he doesn't have thumbs... Unassisted Fire Breath, with an incredibly hot initial burst of flame that can set virtually anything it touches on fire, accurate to around 200 meters and with pinpoint accuracy, Dirge's flames can then also be said to almost immediately dull down into 'embers' - however don't let that fool you, those embers will remain burning for a very long time, up to ten times longer than a normally started burn. He's great for large bonfire parties, but someone else has to dampen the stuff since it'll keep being hot for like a week at this rate Magic Repellant scales, anything with spellcasting is in for a nasty surprise when things just outright bounce off this dragon, though lingering effects of things like a storm created by magic, or naturally occurring effects will still hit him. The pair have become quick at figuring out what tactics to use with a glance at their opponent, will it be a more tooth and nail fight, or one where Volkan literally uses Dirge as a magic shield? Though he also knows that the folks around him and his bond are 'friends' he's still apt to get snippy and territorial around most of them... unless you're looking at the much larger Dairruinth. Equally black, much older, much wiser, and ... the friend of his own bond's ... Half-brother? So Dirge of Embers will definitely hold his tongue around the more experienced dragons, which of course at this point include pretty much all the dragons at Domina, but really there will be others, right? Wait, there's also his bond. In dragon form, Volkan is twice the size of this already-bold dragon?? Dirge isn't afraid to pit that against any dangers, leading enemies directly to said bond, so they can tag team it!
