Name: Sister Gina, or now just Gina

Gender/Preference: Female, she/they, aro/ace

Age/DOB: 25 in 1855; 25th Day, Month of Darkness*

Faction: Heretical, Marked former Oracular Sister

Family: Mother unlikely to be alive, since the sect that took Gina was considerably more brutal about their abduction process; no other known family members

Height/Build: 5'7" / very slender, sometimes quite bony, but with good food and time to recover has a strong and agile frame

Hair: dark red brown, kept short and cut badly, shaggy, often unwashed

Eyes: none, they were dug out of her head at the age of 8 in a ceremony by the Sisterhood; however the pits that remain have healed over with skin, and glow to anyone with magical senses in a brilliant green

Appearance: light skin that tans nicely but she has many small scars from her early life; she usually covers herself head to foot and keeps the Mark on her left hand under a cloth wrap, however she is known to dress in a wide variety of mostly-stolen clothing, from her older Oracular Order white and gold, to a frilly green lace dress, and even a scary mask with hood. She often has a cloth wrap around her head; though when still in the Order, they would place additional gear such as a chain or even barbed wire around that, causing more scars on her scalp. Gina carries herself with strength now, but also can act frail, old, playing the victim to get around, including altering the tone of her normally-strong voice to suit her needs.

"She was never one of them. Her entire life within the Abbey's hidden sect was the lie, she has it in her to uncover all of their shameful rituals."

Skills and Occupation: Trained since youth in visions and prophesy, but also in the warfare that the Abbey has always used against virtually everyone else on the Isles. She knows how to heft a mace, using it for both offense and defensive moves. Gina knows how to retreat and cover her tracks, which is why the Abbey has not yet caught up with her even across their own stronghold in Whitecliff. Her main abilities have always been with outsmarting her superiors and peers in the Sisterhood. She doesn't enjoy deception, but she is remarkably good at it, making her way through the World as a 'helpless blind girl', and though she has had to fight off those that might prey on exactly such a person, by far she garners more sympathy and good will than attackers.

Residence: No current permanent address, however she has been welcomed by Morgan Valena and has hidden out in his old Clemente Landing home for quite some time. She had been born somewhere north of Dunwall, and moved to Whitecliff, but has traveled extensively - on the run, not for vacations...

Notable Possessions: she tries to keep the clothing that she steals in good condition, because they certainly come in handy here and there. She also still has the mace that she practiced with for years, though often disguises it as a walking stick. After meeting Morgan, he devises a way to magically adjust the head of it, so that it retracts and no longer actually looks like a mace - at her magical nudge, it will burst open into the full headed form, but normally is just a slender cane.

Magical Preferences or Abilities: She was going to be investigated by the High Oracle, and would most certainly have been found a Heretic among the Sisterhood - but the books she'd discovered through the eyes of those Sisters who had eyes still, were definitely written by the Order. Even without eyes she can 'see' through the eyes of those around her (which may be why she can use local gear to blend in so well). After having gathered those books up - using her keen memory and spying through rats and birds - she packed them into a satchel and was going to head away forever. Spotted, chased, she rushed through Whitecliff and hid in basements or attics for days, hungry and terrified, until one night the Outsider came to her in a dream. Not a vision, not one of those incense-driven hallucinations that the High Oracle would spew - no, this was truly a connection to the Void. Intrigued by her boldness - as well as shocked at the way that this and other children were blinded physically - he offered his Mark and she took it eagerly. Gina is profoundly good with magic, and is no mere 'witch'.

She has learned much while in Paragon, how to focus her mind, and summon parts of the Void, allowing her to manipulate moods, soothe or terrify minds, and walk unseen in broad daylight. What this will mean for the Abbey is unclear, but they will definitely have to work much harder to find her now that she's got a year worth of 'heroics' under her belt. Gina can distract with scary visions, produce a nightmarish servant created out of the Void, or even provoke one enemy to attack their own group for her. But equal in power to those things, she can defend herself with stealthy shadows, 'fly' on sorcerous winds, and protect team mates or innocents with shields - and failing that, she can heal fallen team mates using the energy of the Void or sucking it right out of her enemies and into her friends.

Personality: She is sick of the Abbey's abuses and bullshit, though she is not what anyone might call a 'bad person'. She has done things to protect herself, but reminds herself frequently that the skills she has with weapons and tactics are those that the Abbey itself teaches all of their soldiers. Since being Marked, she knows that she must hide even more than ever, but comes out of her shell and acts with a smile or soft laugh among those very few people she trusts.

Likes and Dislikes: she'd love to just relax and enjoy the rocking of a ship on the bay, under the fine Karnaca sun; she likes the smell of flowers and can identify different ones even without prying into someone else's vision to tell. She hates hypocrisy and the Abbey is built upon it.

Fears or Interruptions: She IS being hunted by the Abbey, obviously, and would be even if she'd never been an Oracular Sister. She does not have the Heretic's Brand on her, but if they do catch her somehow, will they bother with it, or just execute her? They want her secrets, there are high-ranking Oracles and Overseers who definitely want to know how she learned of those ancient historical documents in the first place. (Particularly how did she see them, and who helped her smuggle them out...)

History: Gina was taken from her family at a young age and made to endure rigorous and often brutal testing to become a member of the Oracular Order. She always resented this intrusion, and more so the fact that they'd taken her from her mother, who herself was quite young. Gina did not know until much later that she'd been sent to a much more extreme sect of the Abbey's Sisterhood, so when the time came for her to become a fully-fledged sister, she realized that the traditional hood, blindfold, and other such gear was there to prevent other people from realizing that they were actually blind. Not merely metaphorically, the Sisters would be blinded in a ceremony that would remove their Worldly vision, to increase their spiritual sight. At the age of eight, she was blinded, and made to practice her skills. However at 18, she escaped the Order, renounced the Abbey, and was Marked by the Outsider. Able to use proper magic, Gina relishes it. At some point Gina is sent to Paragon City, where she has mastered a great many magical skills, and looks forward to using those skills to ruin the Abbey.

*Her date of birth, and subsequent abduction and entry into the Oracular Order follow the much more ancient methodology, and because she was born 'on that day, in that month' was among those destined for more than the other children taken. On discussion with both those who have researched it and the Outsider himself, this process was remarkably similar to the one used to actively find him, four thousand years ago, used by those that evolved into the Envisioned cult. She has become quite intrigued by all of this, as none of the actual history of the Abbey is actually known to more than a scant handfull of people - and definitely not by regular Overseers and Sisters.

The creature sat patiently beside the man, who floated as though he was drifting on a gentle current. That creature had to press his forepaws onto his tufted tail in order to keep from leaping at Levi and batting at him like he was a lure.

This was painfully apparent to Leviathan of course, and the small Terigon couldn't see the smirk on his handsome face, because Levi kept looking upward to avoid showing it off.

"Are you sure she'll come? Are you sure?" The voice of this Terigon was scratchy, but more because it had been unused to speaking for quite a long portion of his life. Now fairly, that life had been on hold for at least as long as Gina had been alive, not even in the Void, just a sort of wandering limbo.

"She will, little one," Levi assured him. As if on cue, a strangely blacker-than-black portal opened in a sort of roiling tendrils and smoke. Unlike many who had come to the Void, she didn't do much more than waggle her fingers to wave off the odd smoke. She'd brought herself, Levi only suggested to her in a dream the night before, that she come visit.

The Terigon however had been startled just a little, and found himself hugging Levi's ankle, peeking out from around his boot. Somehow however, Gina 'spotted' a new presence in this Void. While she could detect Levi of course, his aura and form were always somewhat present in her mind's eye. But this... there was a new mind, a signature energy that her well-practiced telepathy and empathic power now formed into a 'visual' for her.

"Is that a cat?" She asked, peering down a little even though her eyes were still covered by her traditional wrap. She'd been in one of the more casual outfits, a nice vest and a little puffy-sleeved shirt, a skirt that went to her knees, and tall boots. They all just happened to be in approximately the same color scheme as the creature she was 'looking' at.

"No! Not a cat!" The Terigon peeped, fluttering his wings. Which this physically-blind woman seemed to now notice.

"Levi, where did this little... person come from?" Gina asked.

The Outsider nudged himself behind the Terigon, with just a little floating bob up and back. "In the past, away from things," was what he told her. She would learn more later, but for the moment Gina knelt and held her hand out a little.

She felt the velvet muzzle sniff-sniff-sniffing, but more felt the emotional wave from him. She heard him whisper, a velvet voice this time, "it's been so long," he pressed his head against her fingers, and she gave the best scritches. He wasn't much bigger than a cat, maybe with the wings (she carefully ran her fingers from head to neck to the variety of long and short fur... feathers, paw pads...

"What is your name, little friend?"

"Kifoniet!" He said, and she rolled the name around in her mind as well as mouth before repeating it to his enthusiastic nod.

She never realized that his shaggy fur was the same color that her eyes would have been, had they not been ... well. She had green eyes once.

Levi gave a gentle smile at them both, as Gina collected Kifoniet and assessed just how she'd be able to pass him off as an exotic Pandyssian animal.

"I know you're not an animal," Gina said, as Kifoniet snuggled around her neck and shoulders without a hint of struggle. He blended in wonderfully with her outfit, and was actaually small enough to pass as a feline of 'some' kind.

He proved extremely useful keeping his own blue eyes out for signs of danger, when Gina was heading back to the docks in Karnaca, trying to enjoy an afternoon of sun on her skin. With his strong mind she knew the exact location of the Abbey patrol, they shouldn't even have been here in that part of town. Kifoniet flitted from one dusty rooftop to another, and guided Gina away from their own prying eyes. She made it back to the donated apartment she lived in most of the year now, and reminded herself to tell Morgan that there was a new tiny dragon in town.

Maybe some day she'd also have one of those 'big' dragons, like Levi's! But for the moment, Gina prided herself that she could wander the amazing cobbled streets of Karnaca knowing she was just that much more safe having her new friend to look out for her without having to pry!
