Hair: Crimson Flame Red, with many shades of pinkish red, flame, and dark crimson; very silky and slightly wavy, kept to shoulders

Eyes: Blue, with lighter watery blue ringed by very dark blue; large, alert, and with brightly red painted lids

Appearance: Dark and slightly muted violet-blue skin, nary a marking or even a freckle, has larger and longer ears than typical; very long fingers with blue-tipped nails; looks slinky and moves smoothly but can dance like a flame pausing in position and resuming but 3 feet to the left; prefers black and red silk high-slit dresses that have white lace or barely-visible silk accents, emulating both spider webs and moth wings, over comfortable snug-fit cloth pants in black, brighter red shoes; Her voice is strong, high pitched, and can be somewhat shrill if needed; Najwa has the scent of a warm beeswax candle, but also chooses to add spicy scents, and since she loves spicy food you can kind of bet that her breath has a delightful fragrance!

Skill Set: Stringed instruments are her strongest abilities. She is adept with Guitar; Violin, Viola, Cello - any of those with or without an additional electrical boost or amplifier. She goes to town with an electric violin, in fact. Generally she'll stick with the smaller and more portable versions of any of these instruments where possible, because she is, like her seasonal type, energetic and active on stage. She'll sit still to record, and she does so quite well. Background (Soprano) Vocals where a duet or contrasting voice is needed, she can 'rap battle' with speed and accuracy (as well as dirty details... shhhh). She writes a few songs and contributes to the overall decisionmaking about where to go, what parties to play and which venues to avoid, and pretty much flirts with the audience to get them rolling during a show

Former Path: She was never on the same Path as her family, that's for sure. While they prefer to administrate 'from on high', her own choices and gregarious personality mean that she embarrassed them on numerous occasions, just by showing up 'wearing that', or reaching out to shake a diplomat's hand before they got to 'the important people' in their family. She's good with people, she's terrible at following rules that she thinks gets in the way. And as such, she'll remain outside of that sort of thing until she finds a place that can handle her style of in-your-face diplomacy. And... she knows they're out there - once they started talking to people with these dragons, she's learned there are a good number of folks who govern just like she would want.

Current Path: Musician and stage performer; as above she is more than happy to engage the audience and get right down there with them. Not necessarily 'mosh pit' but 'slam poetry' and 'drum circle' and sitting-across-four-laps to introduce herself to somene... She's ridiculously apt to soak up attention and throw it right back to people - never to the point of terrifying a shy kid, but with just enough to embolden them.

Star Stone: the Waxing Gibbous moon dominated the skies of her birth, which may or may not have been well-planned on the part of her family... Diplomatic, charming, indulgent, and a bit judgmental at times, she values herself as much as any aristocrat, but feels that everyone can teach her things beyond just being 'at the top'.

Seasonal Type: Fire, born in the summer, and she positively embodies this element. She tempers much of it with having a sensible personality otherwise, but she doesn't give up in the face of adversity, and is the first in, last out in any fun event.

Personality Traits: as above, Najwa is the bold, smiling, in-your-face type who does recognize that haughty stand-offish posture but chooses to ignore it if she wants to make a point. She is kind and generous, she is all heart, but heart with a lil' bit of burn to it...

Creature Association: the Firebreathing Dragonfly, which appears to actually be able to breathe flames? Who knew! Difficult to catch, but well worth the effort, just like Najwa

Favorite Food: Spicy Honey-Baked Muujin, this dish has everything she loves about food, or really anything at all: hot and spicy! Juicy (like she likes her gossip)! And that hit of sweet honey to round it off? Oh superb! Generally speaking she like making sure that everyone has what they want on their plate, and won't force meat dishes on people unless she knows they like meat but you should try this one.

Place of Origin: capital city of Akwinduu, where her family has large sections of land and mining interests, as well as prosperous merchant connections. It also, she claims, has some of the best street food, fun fairs, and carnivals... And that's the only reason she'll go back home, to indulge in those things and possibly spot one of her elder family members gazing with that slight snarl from above the streets in that big keep of theirs.

Events or History: The odd girl out, the middle child, she chose her ways after being told what she should be doing. She was able to attend to her tutor and learned very quickly, math and science and history and whatever else they presented, asking pointed questions about this person or that theory. When it was suggested by her favorite tutor that perhaps she had a good enough grasp on all of these subjects to become a teacher, herself, he was immediately fired and replaced. She was only 7 when this happened and it left a very lasting, very deep rift between her and her mother. She continued to learn, but she resented every moment of it from that point. She'll seek out information, her original instructor taught her how to do that much, and she's relished visiting libraries all around the countryside. But it was when she heard an outdoor concert once, something that she knew her family hated - but they were on a trip and she'd pretended to be sick and remained at home - she snuck down to the hillside and was absolutely starstruck.

She asked for a violin, and since that could be considered more or less the 'correct' instrument for a young girl, she was indulged. Perhaps in the hopes that it would straighten her out.

It did not.
