Dragondeep is a world created almost entirely from randomly generated inspiration! Using a wide variety of the random generators found on the Seventh Sanctum site and linked from there as well, names of locations, civilizations, and even individual people were made. In fact, the map itself was randomly chosen for its unique appearance using the Fractal Terrains program.

The Seventh Sanctum
Long lauded as one of the best collections of random generators on the Internet, and well worth taking a long gander through Steve's informative discussions about world-building. The central hub for most of my random needs!
There are a good number of links on the main page, to other sites which feature genre- or need-specific generators as well, many of which were used in creating names for Dragondeep. |

ProFantasy Software
The makers of Fractal Terrains and Campaign Cartographer. While I don't have the most up to date versions of either of those, I use Fractal Terrains on a very regular basis and it's a joy to play around with. I highly recommend both programs. ProFantasy is a terrific company with an excellent track record and a great community. |

Used to create images is the Icon program, which allows the personal offline use of the now-defunct MMO City of Heroes character generator. If you used to own City of Heroes, hit up the Titan Network forum and look for how to install and use this fantastic program. It's not going to let you fight crime again, but it's the next best thing. |

Doll Divine, Azalea's Dolls, Rinmaru Dolls, and many other such dollmaker sites have proven to be extremely useful for creating images of characters. |
