Because he is half Zekiran, Vyu's powers of empathy and pain control are accentuated farther from his father's. He dishes out luscious pain, to willing targets of course. The fact that he can coerse someone into a willing state is more a skill than a power, really. He also has a strong ability to heal himself, so he can take as well as deal, and seems to enjoy both. He can also sense and identify sentients, usually Kin and Zekirans, who are nearby.

Vyu loves hitting things with his bare hands. So much so, that he is often not asked to come along on hunts - he's apt to render pelts useless or scare the crap out of people in the process of hunting. He does like using the same types of weapons as his father, whips and razor chains, small hurtful objects. He has a cruel streak in him as big as his father's, so he does enjoy seeing something suffer for a while before he kills it.
