** Shapeshifting, though he doesn't show off nor show up in biped form he is definitely a wolf-cheetah-humanoid kin type, who spends almost all of his time, waking or sleeping, in four-footed form. Being who he is, and being the offspring of shifters like his line are, means that he is fully capable of siring offspring in any compatibly-sized female, and more than that - they can be, if asked, purely the mother's species. (as in, no shifting, no bipedalism unless the species carries it too, he just provides the needed materials for babbies.)

Linguist, Most Sangers have a strong grasp on language and Vable is no exception. Just because he has a muzzle doesn't mean he can't speak English or French or Vort. Well maybe not that last one he's still not telepathic... Gives a +3 innate skill with this, and can learn any given language with a tutor in less than a year to be fluent

Technically Speaking Family Ties, though he doesn't tap his Sanger and Sanger-adjacent 'kin' he's been told that he 'can' do that. He'll find his own way thanks. He'll still show up to the reunions with whatever girlfriend is current and whatever noms he can scrounge from dumpster diving, no really you don't want any? More for me.

Find Great Stuff You've Thrown Out +4 Even if he's not the one going to be using or eating or wearing it, he will definitely be found head down in a rubbish bin true to his Totem. He can repurpose nearly anything in this regard, not as fancy as some Sangers that have thumbs all the time, but he can MacGuyver stuff real well! Has yet to pay full price, or even part-price, for any video game system, prom tux (for a friend of course), college books (also for a friend of course), that last piece of pie, a slightly-dinged up burner phone that you can make a lot more money by selling the still-inserted chip to the cops,... it goes on and on. He embraces the idea that he can dig for crap and come up with gold.

Understand / Speak Basic Humanoid Languages (in his case also four-footers) +6 (3) as above, can hold his own in situations even where there are multiple different languages or dialects being spoken like at a busy party or a loud convention. He does have a little trouble with undersea type speech, and isn't telepathic so he has to rely on his partner in crime to feed him any 'implied context' from words that have to have some underlying telepathic meaning

Representation For The Four-Footers +3 He's spent time talking to Mint, the four-footed 'royal' Kind wolf, who knows first paw the struggle that four-footed intelligent people have when the rest of the world is usually on two feet. Only at Carramba are a lot more of these people taken seriously, and he wants to help the equality spread! It does not help that he's a trash panda. It does help that he's charming as hell about it

Speed And/Or Stealth +3 He is a stealthy hunter, even if he's gone into a big rubbish bin you won't hear a clatter unless he's thinking it'll be funny. Even his scent is markedly temporary and he leaves little to no evidence of his presence unless he places fur bits or a paw print on purpose. And on the other end of this, he can run like the wind, turn on a dime, and even climb or leap with confidence to a point. But overall he's going full speed for a short time and then trots to a panting halt, he's a sprinter but with a much longer race than a typical cheetah might have. He can carry a reasonable amount on his person as long as it doesn't interfere with his feets!

Slightly Less Horny Than Typical For A Sanger +3 of course eventually he'll find some way of nookie, but it's honestly not at the top of his behavior list. He really does want to find a better way through the world than 'humping it' but eh, he has to overcome the shames of Sangers past, and work on the shames of Sangers future!

Is Still Able To Enjoy Sanger Stuff +4 like pain, though he isn't a gigantic fan he will definitely play along with the whole 'you are my pet' thing, including being given a collar and taken on walks (this is why he's doing well in Pandemonium's Compliance Tech course, he can model the latest in harnesses and ball gags and not, you know, 'gag' too much)

Absolutely Gets Lost Like They All Do -3 And he can do it while running 60+ MPH. Wheee! They tried putting him in a driver's ed class. They still haven't found where he left the car, and wandered for a full afternoon looking for directions back to class...

It's not that he's bad at food, he's just kinda always eating it before serving. And definitely Arothphael knows that he is a shifter, he just keeps pretending he isn't, and therefore cannot pass her class. Can't keep going like this he'll have to shuffle some classes around and take something over the summer.
