Mythic Rukels!
Just a few weeks ago, shortly before the end of the school year, a group of unusual Rukels arrived from Darkling Dawn. Perhaps they were normal creatures, but those who had rukels as compaions swear that they're hardly 'normal'. Even for a creature that could have multiple tails, butterfly wings, or nothing at all special about them, this group bore special appearances and abilities.

Because Rukels are quite small, they don't take up all that much space on campus. In fact the gardeners had to be warned away from their little patches near the Caffetorium, where a magical tree seems to have taken root (was it there before? maybe, the magic studies building is just right over there) and a permanent puddle rests in its shade. The rukel batch sometimes wanders in on classes, and while they are never shooed away, sometimes they get stern talkings-to by the instructors. Mostly, because they don't turn in homework!
