Vinrinna was always a lazy child. However, being the eldest daughter of a Holder, his favorite daughter, and the owner of practically a whole herd of runners, she could afford whatever time off she wanted. She enjoyed riding, but hardly all that muss and fuss about cleaning and keeping muck from stables. She'd hardly have made a good dragonry candidate, normally. She wasn't physically weak, in any way. In fact, quite the opposite. Her frame was like her father's, burly and healthy. Just how she wanted to spend her time rarely if ever lapsed into upkeep.

All that changed when they shifted from one world to another. Suddenly finding herself not just without fingers - but with wings, Vinrinna suddenly had a better idea of what servants really should be doing with themselves. She went from merely ordering people around to asking them to perform duties, and even rewarding them when they were done to her satisfaction. This of course, had to now include personal grooming and occasionally help with turning pages in books. She has since gotten more used to the big 'thumb and one finger' hands she's got, and can do those things and more for herself. She performs security detail on the ship now, because frankly she's pretty imposing - human or pegasus.

It did take some time. In that time, she joyfully found herself bonded to Lessodeloth, a great starry dragoness from Danach. Lesso is fierce in ways that the other dragons of the ship aren't - exceptionally protective, but also protective of the ship and her crew as well as her bond. Some might call Lesso cranky, but in reality she's a perfectionist and is seemingly projecting the frustration that her bond has had for the last few centuries for not having real hands any more. (The wings kind of make up for it, but hey - dragons can fly. She doesn't quite understand that walking is all Vinrinna could do once upon a time.)
