*Maal as a baby...*

Maalach prefers being on his own, but enjoys the company of a select few others, generally if they can keep up with him as he explores and roots around for 'fun stuff' to look at, he's a good pal.

He doesn't care for stuffy elders, self-righteous jerks, or careless people who break his collections. One of his favorite activities is soaring over trees low enough to grab fruits or branches.

Though still quite young by most standards, Maalach considers himself mature enough to be taken seriously, and when he isn't, he gets a bit huffy and withdrawn. (let's not talk about how that might be considered not as mature as he wants to look?)

His favorite snack is shale, followed by obsidian as it's quite rare, at least where he is. He treats the darker glassy stone as a delicacy.

While not fearless, Maalach has been known to approach the humans of the area and wtch their activities with interest, though he proabbaly couldn't mainipulate their tools very well it seems he does understand mining, surveying, and construction machinery.

He thinks about trying to find a mate, but is pretty certain he actually IS too young for that just yet. Most of his friends are male. Maalach likes grooming and being groomed, as he cares about not spreading diseases or parasites to his friends. He lives in a canyon wall cavern, overlooking a marshy, slow river, within sight of a biped encampment.
