Aneris Weyr

Kasseran, male, 6'4”, 180 and all muscle, age 20 turns, short black hair and dark brown eyes, with deep brown skin that is marred in places by Threadscore endured while a child.

Though he is the oldest son of his family, it is a family marked with endless pain and scorn. His father died several years after he was born, and his mother has had a continual stream of men siring children with her ever since. He does not speak much with his family, and certainly doesn't admit that all those other kids are his siblings. The amazing thing which came from Kasseran's deceased father was his strength of mental power and intelligence. Kasseran was not a handsome child before he was threadscored, and he has never let that bother him. His senses are all quite good enough to keep him from gaining any new scars, and he emotionally will not allow anyone close enough to hurt him the way he feels his father betrayed him by dying. Though he is not handsome, Kasseran is one of the most persuasive and charismatic young men of the Hold. He has never had the chance to show it off more than casually to the other Lords and crafters, his low birth-status keeping him apart from many who could use his keen intelligence to gain. Kasseran is fairly cruel, especially to his family, though that is in his opinion his only true failing. He believes they failed him first.

The last egg hatched into a very large bronze. He was rather dark compared to the other two that had hatched before him. He walked toward the boys examining their minds as he drew closer. His whirling red eyes were focused though the speed at which they moved indicated clearly the urgency of his situation. At last, he made his decision and stopped at the feet of Kasseran. "I am your family. I am Zouverath," the bronze informed him.

Zou, I swear you need to remember you're not a blue. It would be great if you'd act like a bronze...

But you want me to be fast, I need to train for that.

K'ass sighed, "but you can't even fly yet, Zou, you think blue dragons run around like tunnel snakes?"

I can catch those... watch me!

He could, in fact, catch tunnel snakes. Though that phase didn't last too long. Mostly because the bronze's size began catching up to him. When they did reach flight training, the lanky dragon put on muscle quickly and it could be said he was quicker in the air than other bronzes.

Those blues though, they'd probably always manage to fly circles around him for speed.

Zouverath proudly stood near the other bronze and their gorgeous gold, his sister Asriath. Though some of the prior pairs had gone home already, a few others had remained, and they made a half-decent wing all on their own. They'd head back now, with a tinge of wistful sadness, with a lot more eagerness to see how their home had fared in the meantime.

We do not even have to have been gone long, you know...

"Don't even think about it, do not! I want us coming home to the same place and time as the rest!"
