Welcome to the fabulously garish Droppin the Fork webpage background set collection. From late 1998 through around 2009 I'd put together a bunch of webpage background sets for my specific pages and made them available as I did them, adding to the list as I went on. Surprisingly I do have most of the info needed to continue making them, such as fonts used and such, but in some cases that just isn't possible so eh, yer on yer own if you want to make new pieces out of them. I started distributing these in 2001. I'm just copying the info straight from my archived laptop file since I didn't actually move that section of the website fully until ... well, now, 2023. If you'd like to use these, please save the images (and info if you want) to your own drive and host them on your own site, 'no hotlinking' still applies. Please credit Lethe / Droppin the Fork, though the site to link to will be Kshau Protectorate instead of DTF.
These images are not to be used on commercial sites, and are not to be sold, included in any online or sellable cd for backgrounds.
NO USE IN AI SCRAPING or NFTS. NO permission will ever be granted for non-personal use.
All of the folders in this directory are open for viewing since they don't have an index page, so feel free to scoot around looking for stuff you like. BE AWARE that some files are BITMAPS and not gif, jpg, or pngs. There might be some psp files lurking too. A few have text files for reminding me what the use/info is for that set.

Seadragon -- Full set includes background, welcome, home, next, back, mail, sign, view, dollz, dragons, pets, words, 2 bullets, bar, blank button and dtf logo. Fonts used for this set are Flat Earth Scribe, Devils/Dragons, Mythology 1; A rather busy background, but I like the buttons. Blank button is "full size" to be shrunk to 75%. -- added 4/11/02
5th Matrix, back in 2004 or earlier (since 2004 is the earliest I can track on my laptop backup) both a forum RP for Matrixfans and dragon adoptions were hot!

"Annoyance" is a set I did for my coworker who went hiking in Ireland, Scotland, and Wales one summer, so everything here is 'loosely Celtic themed' and super hard to read. On the other hand it is a full set!

Dawnlight - begun back in 1977 with a very long history and a very complete world setting. Used in dragoning because Shard was my first real rider!
